I had to put it down last night because I hate when a character thinks something in their head and then every other character needs to say it. I get it...it's rare for a female to shift. You are special. I am picking that up without you having to drop it every other line.

For me too! Lady Luck is one of my favorites and its series is one of her best works IMO. But, to each their own. I hope you find it in you to give another of her books a chance, @Michelle. :)

I wish I could remember who reccommended I finally got to read it the other day and I really liked it. The author nailed the vibe of the 80s NYC Punk scene and the story was interesting the whole way through. If anyone wants to know more, please check out my review.

Ok I'm looking for another book like this one, with realistic characters. You know what I mean, like after the book is over, you miss them.
