I just started the "Vampires of Hollywood" series by Adrienne Barbeau. One third into the first one, inordinately pleased...She's redefined vampires and has a polished writing style...entertaining!

Presently, I'm wrapping up, Robert Crane's 'Soulless - The Girl in the Box : book #3' series. I picked the first three books off Amazon and Google Play Books, yesterday - 6/27/15, for free!!! So far, Book#1 &2 have been devoured, and I'm almost through book#3. They are a mixture of Greek mythology, X-Men, and scary childhood fairtales, involving a subspecies of humans called metahumans and policing agebcy called the Directorate. They are a MUST-GET / MUST-READ!!

Shatter Me is a little different because of the writing style but once you get used to it the story should get a hold of you Jess. I ended up really loving the series by the time I read the second book. The novellas are also great and add so much to the story. I do hope you hang in with it and end up enjoying it :)

I really enjoyed the Lux series. Read , , , and . It was a surprise, because a usually don't enjoy that much YA books. Still have pending.

After this intense series I had to get something a little lighter, so I finished and . Nice books, 3.5 stars.

Also read . It was just ok.

I just finished and I liked it, so I'm continueing with the series.

Finished reading:

- it was interesting though a bit rushed at the end.

- since I haven't read the Alien Huntress series the world building was new to me. What can I say - I love Lords of the Underworld much more!

- it's actually the book I ordered autographed and I was a bit disappointed in it - it was interesting and gritty but it didn't live up to my expectations.

- covering his own fears and insecurities he was pushing the actual owner of the land and pack pretty hard. Without giving much back.

- well this was a roller-coaster of a ride. Loved it!

- not as great as a previous one but still I loved it.

- mixed feelings for now, mostly because of the writing style.
