Amac | 39 comments The Curse Giver by Dora Machado A quarter into this book. Well written (so far). Good characterization. The book is not as dark as I thought it would be (again, so far) based on the blurbs and cover.

SPOILER-ISH: Well written characters. I liked both leads. The ending was unusual, but I liked it because it was not what I was expecting. Very fantasy. Much magic. The romance pretty much dried up after half-way through the book. Not that they fell out of love but that they spent the rest of the book being busy a part and rarely thought of each other (in the book, at least, which made sense but their reunion was meh).

lol I'm glad you didn't pass on it! I'm amazed that I was so sucked into the budding romance between Meg and Simon. I mean i think by book three all they have done is hold hands for one second! It has to be one of the slowest moving romances I've ever read but I love it!
