Crazy4more (lan-ni) | 3071 comments Finished The Professional (The Game Maker, #1) by Kresley Cole . This was my first read from this author and it won't be the last. So very sexy with great characters and decent plot. Can't ask for more with ER.

Reading Archangel's Shadows (Guild Hunter, #7) by Nalini Singh .

Claudia Ayala (claudia_ayala) | 149 comments Decided to reread Fifty Shades of Grey (Fifty Shades, #1) by E.L. James , Fifty Shades Darker (Fifty Shades, #2) by E.L. James and Fifty Shades Freed (Fifty Shades, #3) by E.L. James (Yeahh, because of the movie). This time, without the prejudge I had when I read them the first time -more than two years ago-, I thought they weren’t that bad, especially number 1 and 2. ;)

Also, been reading Thea Harrison´s Elder Races. So far, I´ve have finished Dragon Bound (Elder Races, #1) by Thea Harrison , Storm's Heart (Elder Races, #2) by Thea Harrison , Serpent's Kiss (Elder Races, #3) by Thea Harrison , True Colors (Elder Races, #3.5) by Thea Harrison , Oracle's Moon (Elder Races, #4) by Thea Harrison , Natural Evil (Elder Races, #4.5) by Thea Harrison and Devil's Gate (Elder Races, #4.6) by Thea Harrison . I´m loving this series.

Christine | 1127 comments I finished Unhinged (Splintered, #2) by A.G. Howard and have moved right on to Ensnared (Splintered, #3) by A.G. Howard . I love the author's re-imagined Wonderland, but I wish she would have toned down the love triangle and cliched teenaged angst in the first two books.

Listening to Obsession in Death (In Death, #40) by J.D. Robb . After a book a month for over threes years, I don't know what I'm going to do next month without my Eve & Co fix.

♥ Ashleigh ♥ Contrary to popular belief I'm not actually mad! (cheshire_red) recently finished Sleight of Hand (Bite Back, #1) by Mark Henwick which i rather enjoyed. rated it 4 stars.

now buddy reading Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë - reading for the first time, i know i know im like super behind, my reasoning for this is because i dont tend to like classics, but i thought why not? also my buddy suggested we read some, so this was first up. speaking of my buddy, i havent heard from her at all since i started, im not chapter 10.... hmm i should probably go hunt her down.

Cierra (The Book Lover's Report) (the_book_lovers_report) | 1 comments Currently reading Once upon Stilettos by Shanna Swendson, which is the second book in the Enchanted, Inc. series. The first book was okay; I liked it enough to start on the next book. I'm only 13% through this one, and once again it's just okay. The main character is starting to seem a bit like a Mary Sue or something, though.

Stupid Amazon Australia sent it to my old Kindle instead of my new one! Usually books released at "midnight" US time arrive here in the middle of the day because we're hours ahead. Not so with this one. Grr...

message 34826: by Christine (new)

Christine | 1127 comments Finished In The Afterlight (The Darkest Minds, #3) by Alexandra Bracken which I really enjoyed. It did seem a little too long, but overall it was a good wrap up to the trilogy and I recommend this series.

Up next, I'm going to finally finish out the Ranger's Apprentice series with The Royal Ranger (Ranger's Apprentice, #12) by John Flanagan . I love this series (even though it's for much younger readers than I), but I'm not sure how I feel about this last book being set so much later than the rest of the series. Everyone is so much older than the last time I saw them, but I'll give it a try.

Irene (irenemikhaylova) | 478 comments Finished reading Darkness Unleashed (Guardians of Eternity, #5) by Alexandra Ivy - my favorite so far in the series. Also finished Dance Upon the Air (Three Sisters Island, #1) by Nora Roberts and A Gentleman Never Tells (The Rogues' Dynasty #4) by Amelia Grey - enjoyed both of them ;) Finished Angel of Darkness (The Fallen, #1) by Cynthia Eden and didn't like it very much, especially some parts, very boring and repetitive.

Started reading Angel's Ink (The Asylum's Tales, #1) by Jocelynn Drake - for some reason I thought the owner of the ink salon was a woman LOL Also started reading Fair Game (Alpha & Omega, #3) by Patricia Briggs before waiting for my copy of Dead Heat (Alpha & Omega, #4) by Patricia Briggs . I do hope Charles sorts out his "problem" which is described at the beginning.

I'm about half way through The Royal Ranger (Ranger's Apprentice, #12) by John Flanagan and I'm actually enjoying it a lot more than I thought it would. We've come full circle and now Will is the one with the new apprentice, so it's a bit like reliving the early years between Halt and Will. Some people will probably be annoyed by the repetition, while others will enjoy the journey down memory lane. I've just been rolling with the humor of it all so far. Although I just reached a part that had me tearing up a little bit. I'm expecting the training part to end soon so we can move on with the rest of the plot.

Christine | 1127 comments Emily wrote: "Has Rangers finished? I remember reading that in primary school! oh my god hahah "

There were ten books in the series and then a book that I think was a collection of short stories or novellas (that I skipped) and now this most recent book which revisits the characters several years later. I can see why some people stopped after book ten, because you get to leave all of your favorite characters in a happy place. I've been trying to get my boys who are 11 and 10 to read this series, because I honestly think it's better than the Percy Jackson series which they enjoyed.

The third book is what finally sold me on the series. I didn't care for the first two all that much.
