Love Roarke via audio too. Susan's amazing at her job! Enjoy."

The problem is, I associate her so strongly with Eve Dallas now that it ruins some other books for me. I listened to a historical romance narrated by her, and I kept wondering why Eve Dallas was speaking with a British accent. It took halfway through the book for me to finally remember that it wasn't Eve.

You really should read the other two books! The whole trilogy feels like one whole story just divided into three, and they're all as good as the first :D

If you keep reading in the series, you'll get to see the romance between Eve and Roarke grow. That's one of the things I like about this series, each story is stand alone, but the characters and their relationships develop and grow from book to book. Twice a year I get to check in with my friends and get up to speed on all the details of their relationships. It's like a soap opera with serial killers :-)

Amac | 39 comments Finished Revenant (Lords of Deliverance, #6; Demonica, #11) by Larissa Ione , which I guess is the end of the Demonica series but there will be mini stories for anthologies? Honestly, this series had more misses than hits but I'm a sucker for paranormal/urban fantasy romance and I read them all and overall I'd get the series 3.5 starts out of 5.

Currently reading Radiance (Wraith Kings, #1) by Grace Draven Liking it a lot...will have to read some of this author's other books now!

Agree. The dynamics of their relationship are what make the series so enduring.
