Yes they are! She does a great job narrating them!!! I haven't actually "read" any of the books in the series, I listened to all of them.

She does doesn't she? I was worried they might have changed the narrator after Play of Passion, which was the last one I listened to in the series
Really? I found that audiobooks are good for rereading books... It might be the opposite for you then :D? When you reread it, you actually read it? There are cool little formats (email formats etc) and one or two pictured (like Kaleb's star) in the books so you should check it out one day :)

romance/suspense on audio. Erotic thriller but went wonky at the end.

Listening to The Beautiful Ashes (Broken Destiny, #1) by Jeaniene Frost . It took a bit to get into, but I am enjoying now.

Started Seventh Grave and No Body (Charley Davidson, #7) by Darynda Jones . Love this series!

I love to get a book on audio after reading it. Actor/narrator can bring out things I missed. Amazon "whispersync" allows me to get narration from audible at a discount. I can switch back and forth from Kindle/audible or listen to book later. Very cool.

Really? I have several ebooks, but I haven't opened them on principle. I do enjoy listening to these books. I am curious if there are nice pictures in them or whether I will have to buy MMPB or even hardcovers. Usually I buy paper books just for the autographs from authors - the shipment to my country is a rip off.

Denise Nanna | 1321 comments could not finish This Man (This Man, #1) by Jodi Ellen Malpas . I really dont like these books where the man is toxic and the woman just doesnt have the strength to know it when he is in the room.

Started Stolen Songbird (The Malediction Trilogy, #1) by Danielle L. Jensen

Yeah, but I can only remember one or two little pictures... Not much really :)
I think just the main difference in the audiobooks is that you can't properly 'see' the email conversations, journal entries, etc.

Jenny Schwartz (jenny_schwartz) Talking to a friend yesterday about Jim Butcher's Harry Dresden series Wizard for Hire I've always been wary of starting it because people seem to get addicted :) But seriously thinking to start 2015 with this series.

Currently re-reading Big Bad Beast (Pride, #6) by Shelly Laurenston Love that series!

message 34264: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Anderson (goodreadscomsharon_anderson) | 40 comments I absolutely LOVE Harry Dresden! Seriously, you won't be disappointed. Very strong characters up front, some strong women, too. But 1st person POV throughout - of course it is Harry's POV... a guy I didn't mind having in my head. Love to talk with you about the last couple of books when you get there! #cantgowrong

message 34277: by ♥ Ashleigh ♥ (new)

♥ Ashleigh ♥ Contrary to popular belief I'm not actually mad! (cheshire_red) ssince my last post i've read The Emperor's Edge (The Emperor's Edge, #1) by Lindsay Buroker which was awesome. interesting take on steampunk cross Asian culture.
plus the main character is great.

Im currently reading The Heartless by James Ticknor and so far i am not a fan. i was for about 10% mid way through the book. before and after that 10% has not been great. theres many typing errors, grammar errors, name errors. ect. plus the main characters is this shitty 'almost man' wo's constantly trowing a tantrum and killing people because stuff didnt go his way. he's pretty much a bully with magical powers.
the magic powers and the world are pretty cool. only good thing about the book so far.

♥ Ashleigh ♥ Contrary to popular belief I'm not actually mad! (cheshire_red) Finished reading The Heartless by James Ticknor have to say i was not very impressed with it. the main character is absolutely terrible in pretty much all ways. totally unlikable. i dont think it was edited at all. the writer has potential though, being that i still managed to finish the book even after all the elements i disliked. magic was awesome.

currently reading Fever by Mary Beth Keane so far it hasnt been bad. i like the main character, and feel sad for her, she has had terrible luck in life. about to start reading from her 'partners' POV. not really looking forward to that. i dont want to feel sympathetic towards him in anyway..... who knows maybe i'll end up disliking him even more?

Arielle Rae Aguilar | 230 comments Finished Dream a Little Dream (Chicago Stars, #4) by Susan Elizabeth Phillips and I had to struggle through some parts of it, but there were parts that are so sweet and the secondary romance is quite charming, so I still managed to finish it quickly :)

Reading the novellas in Wild Invitation (Psy-Changeling, #0.5, 3.5, 9.5, 10.5) by Nalini Singh between books so I don't have to be out of the Psy Changeling world while waiting for Night Shift (Kate Daniels, #6.5; SPI Files, # 0.5; Psy-Changeling) by Nalini Singh ... I can read Shield of Winter (Psy-Changeling, #13) by Nalini Singh soon! Can't wait!

Anita (anitaw) | 166 comments I have been LOVING the new book by Wen Spencer that she's posting as she writes it on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/wen.spencer I think it's called Black Wolves and it's about an adolescent werewolf that was adopted by norms and only recently discovered his werewolf half-brother and cousin - the only blood relatives he has left. It's SO interesting what she's done with the werewolf trope. Early adolescent shifts (the first time a were can shift) are often shifts to a PUPPY wolf. SOO cute. And that's not the only interesting twist. Try it out - free for now!
