Michelle | 6 comments The Witch With No Name (The Hollows, #13) by Kim Harrison I'm behind since I planned on having this one read last week. Maybe I'm prolonging it so the series does not have to come to an end!
After that I'm moving onto finishing up Deity (Covenant, #3) by Jennifer L. Armentrout and then I want to start Sterling (Mageri, #1) by Dannika Dark which I've heard great things about.

Irene (irenemikhaylova) | 478 comments Finished Son of No One (Hellchasers, #6; Dark-Hunter, #14) by Sherrilyn Kenyon - liked it, but it's not the best ever Dark Hunter book. And finished Darkness Everlasting (Guardians of Eternity, #3) by Alexandra Ivy - is it a prerequisite for a heroine to be so stupidly in love that she tumbles into EVERY bad situation that can happen and distracts the hero when he comes to save her to the point of him almost failing?

Started reading Born of Silence (The League, #5) by Sherrilyn Kenyon

I hope to get to Son of No One soon. It's been awhile since I read the last DH book. I did just finish Born of Fury though. Love the League and I hope you enjoy Darling's story.

Did you enjoy Black & Blue? After reading that it made me want to read the Alien Huntress series which I enjoyed even more.

message 33925: by Veronica (new)

Veronica Rosa (veronicadelrosa) Yeah, I really enjoyed it. Honestly, I thought it was going to be a miss for me because of Blue's character in the previous books. So glad I read it because I adore him.
The first book,Last Kiss Goodnight was also interesting. Although you don't necessary need to read the first one.

Same for me. That book is what introduced me to the genre :)

Hope you enjoy the series Fallon!

message 33932: by Veronica (new)

Veronica Rosa (veronicadelrosa) Ahh, Dark Hunter. What a love affair I've had with that series. Oh and the League series. Sherrilyn Kenyon knows how to write the tortured hero.

I just finished By My Side... A Valentine's Day Story by Christine Blackthorn . It's not my usual fare as I'm not into the dominance/submissive scene. Still, it was very well written and engaging.

message 33933: by Lee (new)

Lee (you-gotta-love-books) | 17 comments I just started Kodiak's Claim by Eve Langlais. It's pretty good so far, lets hope it stays that way :)

message 33934: by Irene (new)

Irene (irenemikhaylova) | 478 comments Yes, Dark Hunters.... Great series! But when I read Fantasy Lover (Dark-Hunter companion novel) by Sherrilyn Kenyon I didn't like that much and gave it just 3*. Only later when I read The Dream Hunter (Dream-Hunter #1) by Sherrilyn Kenyon I got hooked and started from the beginning :)

Finished reading After Midnight (Cabot, #1) by Teresa Medeiros - it was the first book I read by Teresa Medeiros in this genre. It was very good - a blend between historical and pnr. And I'm finishing reading Howl For It (Pride, #0.5) by Shelly Laurenston - I like second story by Cynthia Eden more than the first.

The Warlord Wants Forever (Immortals After Dark, #1) by Kresley Cole is definitely not the best book I've read but I think I'll keep with the series.

message 33935: by Cathy (new)

Cathy | 4 comments Well, I'm not reading the Fever series, but you've all convinced me to try it. I just finished a new book I found on sale in the Kindle store, Kiss of the Cougar by Alessandra Peche. I loved it. It's about weremountion lions. I like a lot of romance in my adventures and this book has plenty. I would only recommend for adults. The sex scenes are pretty explicit. If you don't like that, you'll hate the book. There's a lot of adventure, too, and that kept me reading almost non-stop to the end. I can't wait for the next book.

message 33936: by Resa (new)

Resa | 11 comments Burn For Me I just finished this book last night. I have started book 2. This was really good, alpha male who doesn't become a lap dog. Strong female who has the right balance of strength and vulnerability. The story line is familiar paranormals held captive etc. But he is a Phoenix and she is something no one expected. Great tension between the characters. Tons of plot twists to keep it interesting

message 33937: by Karen ⚜Mess⚜ (new)

Karen ⚜Mess⚜ | 49 comments Finished Magic Strikes (Kate Daniels, #3) by Ilona Andrews . LOVED this book. Haven't read the first 2 yet. But the whole series is now on my to do list.

Also, finished Archangel's Kiss (Guild Hunter, #2) by Nalini Singh . Good book. Got really juicy at the end. I heard #3 isn't quite as good, so I will hold off on that for a bit.

rated 4 stars

message 33941: by Irene (new)

Irene (irenemikhaylova) | 478 comments Finally finished listening to Touch the Dark (Cassandra Palmer, #1) by Karen Chance - it was kinda hard to follow everything while listening. So I didn't get hooked on the series. Finished reading Eternal Blood (Mark of the Vampire, #2.5) by Laura Wright - not a good idea to read a short story before reading at least one book in the series. And finished reading Howl For It (Pride, #0.5) by Shelly Laurenston and The Warlord Wants Forever (Immortals After Dark, #1) by Kresley Cole . Mostly enjoyed both of them.

Started listening to The Hot Zone (Rainshadow, #3; Harmony, #11) by Jayne Castle - I do enjoy Jayne Castle books! And started reading Between a Rake and a Hard Place (The Royal Rakes, #3) by Mia Marlowe and short sotry For I Have Sinned (Charley Davidson, #1.5) by Darynda Jones on Whatpad.

I'm currently listening to the audio of Outlander (Outlander, #1) by Diana Gabaldon I'm enjoying it so far. Had been wanting to get to get for a long time. message 33946: by Christy (new)

Christy (christy_kennedy) | 184 comments Finished Dark Blood (Dark, #26) by Christine Feehan last week and gave it a 3 star because the author always goes down the bunny trail of character descriptives and forgets there is an actual story going on. What saved the book was the incredible world building and brutal fight scenes. This author knows how to write 'evil'.

Wrapped up Son of No One (Hellchasers, #6; Dark-Hunter, #14) by Sherrilyn Kenyon yesterday and I loved it. I felt SK went back to the style of writing of her earlier Dark Hunter books; filled with great action, dark humor and snarky dialogue and wonderful storytelling and world building. So good not to be beaten to death with non-stop tragedy on every other page.

Now I'm reading The Guardian (Dream-Hunter, #5; Were-Hunter, #6) by Sherrilyn Kenyon . I believe I'm in for the 'tragedy trail' with this one, so here it goes. lol.

message 33947: by Veronica (new)

Veronica Rosa (veronicadelrosa) Ooh, I loved The Guardian! It wasn't as overly tragic and horrific as some of her other books.

Right now I'm reading Darkness (New Species, #12) by Laurann Dohner . So far, I'm loving it. Great characters!

Becky ♡The Bookworm♡ (mckennamuse) | 55 comments I'm reading Murder of Crows (The Others, #2) by Anne Bishop and LOVE it! It's a nice twist on the shifter/vampire/elemental books that are out there. It'll be tough to wait until March for the 3rd book.
