It's been awhile since I read this one, but for the most part I really enjoyed it! I just saw the other day that Starz is going to carry the series starting in August ... of course I don't have that channel ... blah.

Fallon (fallonvale) | 255 comments Finished Night Reigns (Immortal Guardians, #2) by Dianne Duvall and Half-Blood (Covenant, #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout which I haven't made a decision on an opinion. I've heard so very much about it, and i love Greek Myths, so I'm leaning toward liking it. Almost through listening to Blue Moon (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter, #8) by Laurell K. Hamilton and starting Celestra Forever After by Addison Moore which I'm actually reluctant to start.

message 33271: by Christine (new)

Christine | 1127 comments I read Blood Prophecy (Witch Fairy, #2) by Bonnie Lamer over the weekend and am almost done with Blood Lines (Witch Fairy, #3) by Bonnie Lamer . There is something about this series that I really like. I picked the first one up for free from Amazon True of Blood (Witch Fairy, #1) by Bonnie Lamer and for once I feel like those freebies paid off. I do think the author could benefit from a good editor, but still they are enjoyable reads.

I also finished A Love Untamed (Feral Warriors, #7) by Pamela Palmer which was pretty good and am just starting Wulfe Untamed (Feral Warriors, #8) by Pamela Palmer

In audio, I'm almost done with The Devil You Know (Felix Castor, #1) by Mike Carey and I thought this one was great.

Christi | 9 comments I recently read and loved these books, Fighting Destiny (The Fae Chronicles, #1) by Amelia Hutchins Taunting Destiny (The Fae Chronicles #2) by Amelia Hutchins Escaping Destiny (The Fae Chronicles, #3) by Amelia Hutchins , love Paranormal Romance and I like the uber-Alpha H. I normally don't care for fighting h but it worked in this book as I felt he was so Alpha (don't hate me). I would love some recommendations for authors / series that are similar. I've read BDB, Fever series, most of the mainstream authors. Looking for something new. Any recommendations?

message 33279: by Dee (new)

Dee (phonebooklady) I'm reading Dreams of Lilacs (De Piaget, #16) by Lynn Kurland and listening to Monster in My Closet (Monster Haven, #1) by R.L. Naquin

message 33280: by Christine (new)

Christine | 1127 comments I finished listening to Monster in My Closet (Monster Haven, #1) by R.L. Naquin and I was pleasantly surprised. It's funny without going overboard like some do and I really enjoyed it. However, there were some aspects of the plot that didn't quite work for me, like a situation that is so obvious how can the main character not see it. But I enjoyed it enough that I plan to continue the series.

But up first is Indulgence in Death (In Death, #31) by J.D. Robb

Love, love, love this series! But you're reading it out of order! How?! Why?! Can you even do that?! ;-)

Obviously, I'm OCD about reading series in order. But Magic Strikes is probably my favorite from the series. It certainly has a lot of my favorite quotes.

message 33294: by Christine (new)

Christine | 1127 comments I'm reading Wulfe Untamed (Feral Warriors, #8) by Pamela Palmer . It's pretty good so far, plus this will let me cross another series off the list as DONE. I've been on a roll this year with catching up or finishing old series.

Then I jumped into Wild About You (Love at Stake, #13) by Kerrelyn Sparks another nice read for this oldie but goody series.
