I'm with you. I was irritated by how easily some of the pack were manipulated by Christy, but then that's human nature and the fact that I was so irritated just shows my investment in the story.
I thought Mercy and Adam both handled the situation in a manner totally in line with their characters and their relationship. (view spoiler)

Just read another book by Shona Husk. If you like Keri Arthur, you might like The Golbin King and the one I just read about the fae called LORD OF THE HUNT.

I'm reading a book I found on Amazon called Laura's wolf. Surprisingly, it's quite good!
With my new work schedule, my reading has really suffered. I just finished The Handmaid's Tale

Me, too! I have the first two on audio, and I'm really thinking of listening to them again before book three comes out. There was so much going on in those first two books, I'm not sure how much I remember.

i see. i hope that change doesn't take away from the series. that happened in the Anita Blake and Vlad series. i still read both but i wish the writing style hadn't changed.
