message 32680: by Christine (new)

Christine | 1127 comments Breaking Point (I-Team, #5) by Pamela Clare was so, so good. Loved it. Up From the Grave (Night Huntress, #7) by Jeaniene Frost was a nice wrap up to the series, but I can't say she surprised me with anything she did in the plot.

Up next are Promises in Death (In Death, #28) by J.D. Robb and The Spider (Elemental Assassin, #10) by Jennifer Estep

message 32698: by Christine (last edited Feb 19, 2014 01:41PM) (new)

Christine | 1127 comments Promises in Death (In Death, #28) by J.D. Robb was so good. It was an emotional one with both sad and light moments. I love the books where she manages to balance the serious and somber with the lighter moments. What would I do without Peabody?

The Spider (Elemental Assassin, #10) by Jennifer Estep was a fine story, but I would have rather spent the time seeing the current story lines progress rather than visiting the past.

I also just finished No Place to Run (KGI, #2) by Maya Banks . This was a really fun book on the surface, but when I stop and think about the plot and how the characters behaved it falls a little short. For me, Pamela Clare's I-Team series is much better at managing a detailed and generally believable plot.

I'm almost done with Ex-Communication (Ex-Heroes, #3) by Peter Clines . "Corpse Girl for the win!" I love her new character.

Twinsmom2007 | 6 comments I just finished Jennifer Armentrout's Covenant series and LOVED IT!! **************spoiler alert*************

If the breed order is revoked, then how do they prevent being overwhelmed with Appolyons? I think I understood that they occur with a female pure and male half blood; so after they end the breed order - what happens?

message 32700: by Lieke (new)

Lieke (vagasker) I'm reading Deathless by Catherynne M. Valente . I can't say I knew anything about Russian folklore, but I really enjoy this book!
