Sometimes, I love to go back and read favorite old Harlequin Presents. I usually have to turn off my internal editor because the conventions for Category are different, but the old ones ooze sexual tension.:-)

I just finished Mystic City today and I thought it was okay, I didn't love it but I didn't hate it either. I found parts of the story predictable and I felt the romance was a bit contrived but I liked the world building and I liked the general premise of the storyline.

Overall I think it's an alright read but not one that's memorable. Saying that I'll probably still be interested in reading the sequel but I won't be in a rush to buy it. Are you thinking about reading it? :)

I just finished Blood in the Stars by Jennifer Shea!! SO GOOD! I seriously whizzed through it because I couldn't put it down. Can't recommend it enough. I already loaned my Kindle copy to my sister! I love the storyline behind it and there's just enough romance for my girly little heart.

I've just had the pleasure of reading an advance copy of Linda Prather's paranormal mystery Eternal Beauty it's the second book in the Catherine Mans' series. Book one was my favorite read of 2012 I've been looking forward to this book and it definitely didn't disappoint.

Only two books have freaked me out in the past five years-Relentless and 77 Shadow Street, both by Koontz.Both times I was driving on a highway for 12 hours straight through the night while everyone slept around me listening to them on Audio.

Wrapped up - great book! Slower pacing from , but for the story line it was perfect. It appears to be the end of one story arc and a nice segue into the next one with coming out in January/February 2014. I can't wait!!!!
