Belkis (bminaya) | 861 comments Finished Written in Red (The Others, #1) by Anne Bishop and LOVED it! Then read Seduced in the Dark (The Dark Duet, #2) by C.J. Roberts and also LOVED. Then Beautiful Stranger (Beautiful Bastard, #2) by Christina Lauren and the audio of this was bloody brilliant! The British accent on the Male narrator was like melted honey in my ears LOL! Definitely good read. Then read Beauty from Surrender (Beauty, #2) by Georgia Cates and loved it too. Then First Grave on the Right (Charley Davidson, #1) by Darynda Jones it was really good, so funny. Then Of Triton (Of Poseidon, #2) by Anna Banks and was good. Now reading Siege and Storm (The Grisha, #2) by Leigh Bardugo and The Forever of Ella and Micha (The Secret, #2) by Jessica Sorensen .

I second that!

Christy (christy_kennedy) | 184 comments Finished Blood and Sand (Elemental World, #2) by Elizabeth Hunter . Outstanding! Elizabeth Hunter has Paranormal/Suspense/Romance by.the.balls!

I hate that she is taking a break from this series for a year. :(

But, life goes on and I'm on to The Goblin King (The Kings #4) by Heather Killough-Walden . Very excited!

message 30604: by MadameZelda (new)

MadameZelda @Christy. Elizabeth Hunter is the best!

Isn't it though... easily the best book I've read this year! And, I ended up loving Kaleb more than I ever thought I would!

message 30606: by Sillylittlefishey (new)

Sillylittlefishey | 1025 comments I finished Ready to Die (To Die #5) by Lisa Jackson ... I know not the usual fare for this board, it had good points and bad. I wish it had more Santana in it... I just love him! A lot of this book was pretty predictable, but I did end up enjoying it.

Now I'm trying to catch up the Dark Ink Chronicles with Black Fallen (Dark Ink Chronicles, #4) by Elle Jasper

Fallon (fallonvale) | 255 comments Finished Magic Burns (Kate Daniels, #2) by Ilona Andrews and I liked it a little better than the first book. Also finished The Testing (The Testing, #1) by Joelle Charbonneau and really liked it also World of Shell and Bone (Glimpsing Stars, #1) by S.K. Falls but I wasn't a big fan. Alicia (aliciab249) | 18 comments I'm just starting Full Blooded and I'm almost done with the auto edition of Black Night

message 30612: by David (new)

David Wilson | 20 comments Taking a break from fantasy / horror and reading a sort of novelized version of a story about a serial killer who operated during the first World's Fair. A lot of period information that will serve me well in my writing, and a dark - eerie story at the same time.

message 30613: by Margarita (new)

Margarita Gakis (margarita_gakis) | 24 comments I'm reading Heart of Brass (Clockwork Agents, #1) by Kate Cross . It's a steampunk romance with intrigue. I'm really enjoying it. I really like the steampunk side of it. It's a genre I'd like to get into and I saw this book on a couple lists so I thought I would check it out.

message 30614: by Kryptonite (new)

message 30615: by Margarita (new)

Margarita Gakis (margarita_gakis) | 24 comments Is the psychangeling series chronological? Do I have to start at book 1 to know what's going on? I see it on a lot of lists....

message 30616: by Kryptonite (last edited Jun 09, 2013 06:53AM) (new)

Kryptonite (sg34) | 96 comments I think you should probably read a few of the earlier ones before picking up HoO. Just to feel the full impact of this book. But I skipped around in the series. I started with Slave to Sensation, which was great, and moved to maybe book 6 then went back to #2...

message 30617: by Christy (new)

Christy (christy_kennedy) | 184 comments Finished The Goblin King (The Kings #4) by Heather Killough-Walden - Book 4 of The Kings series by Heather Killough-Walden. Holy $@%! What. A. Book! She takes you through a gamut of emotions and suspense, great action sequences and delivers a hell of a whallop in the last few chapters. In this book she actually introduces the two new queens for the next two books - The Seelie King will be Book 5 and I'm going on a hunch Book 6 will be The Unseelie King. We'll see. Just an excellent series in every way.

Now on to Vampire Elite, (Vampire Elite Series, Volume 1) by Irina Argo . Should be interesting.

I haven't started the psy-changeling series, but I plan to. Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter had to be read in chron order. My guess is it's the same with psy-changeling.

Also read Faking It (Losing It, #2) by Cora Carmack that was a good sequel to Losing It. Now I'll be re-reading The Golden Dynasty (Fantasyland, #2) by Kristen Ashley , my favorite KA book. \o/

I really liked it. I thought No'One was the right choice for Thor. I thought Thor cared for her, I wasn't convinced that he loved her. I did think the potential for those feelings were there though. I'm currently reading Lover At Last (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #11) by J.R. Ward .

I suggest savor this read. I was reading two books at same time. The whole book is great but we tend to rush over just to get to Blay & Qhuinn making side stories an annoyance but shouldn't... Just saying...

message 30641: by Crazy4more (new)

Crazy4more (lan-ni) | 3071 comments .Finished Beauty Emerges (Jane Porter, #1-3) by Dominique Adair . Very hot read, decent pkt with great characters...perfect for my gym...though I stayed up way too late and didn't save it for the gym as much as I should.
