Yes, yes you do! Indigo's book is up there with Riley and Mercy's book for me. I adore them. Then it's Hawke's book!!!!

There was just something missing in the two books where neither main character was a changeling.

Kathy | 65 comments I just finished The Cursed by Alyssa Day. It is a fun read and I am looking forward to reading more in this new world. The hero in this is a bit manic and reminded me of Katie MacAlister's men. A little silly but still enjoyable.

Oooo have you read them all? I'm not use to reading series that are longer than a trilogy and most of my friends say the series goes downhill after a few books.

Yeah I did... and reread of few of them too
There were a couple later books that weren't the same standard but still very enjoyable. All of Bones & Cat books are worth it. Book 7 is coming out this year- can't wait.

The books with Vlad were great too. Not the same level as Cat & Bones.

I think the least enjoyable, but still a good read, was Eternal Kiss of Darkness with Mencheres then First Drop of Crimson with Spade.

message 30287: by Rachel (new)

Rachel | 192 comments Thanks! I really liked the first book so I'm hopeful for the rest of the series!

I've heard that Vlad was worth the wait since he doesn't appear until later ;)

I agree I wasn't a big fan of the Night Huntress World books.....Eternal Kiss of Darkness & Drop of Crimson....

message 30296: by Sillylittlefishey (new)

Sillylittlefishey | 1025 comments I finished Dark Craving (Dark Kings, #1) by Donna Grant , it was good but short as it's only 90 pages.

Now I'm planning to go back to psy-changeling with Christmas in the Kitchen and Bonds of Justice (Psy-Changeling, #8) by Nalini Singh

message 30297: by Shuling (new)

Shuling Finished When He Was Bad (Magnus Pack, #3.5) by Shelly Laurenston . But I mainly just focus on Miss Congeniality by Shelly Laurenston. The other one seems too cliche for me. Love Shelly Laurenston thoroughly. If I can, I will kiss her senseless right now. How her brain can think of such wonderful phrases never fails to amaze me. :D

That is one heck of an endorsement! Now I'll have to get my hands on this book to see if I too get that delightful afterglow from a truly exceptional book :-)

message 30299: by Megan (new)

Megan (megandurrence) | 78 comments Hey all! I don't usually post on these. Mainly because by the time I get around to it I'm already half way through the book. But, what the hell, might as well!

I'm reading Fall of Night (The Morganville Vampires, #14) by Rachel Caine which is the 14th book in the Morganville Vampire series. (Wow, I didn't realize this was number fourteen until I just looked) I really forget how much I love this series until I start to read it again. The characters are so much fun to follow! I'm about half way through it now(see!) and its good. Can't wait to see how it plays out.

message 30300: by Shuling (new)

Shuling I was so excited to see the posts up there, promising that Branded by Fire (Psy-Changeling, #6) by Nalini Singh is going to be great. So far I'd read only Slave to Sensation,Visions of Heat and Kiss of Snow. So you see, I am quite thrilled at the idea of two changelings together (we all know how wild they can get sometimes...). I had only read through 6% of it and now I think my brain is going to lit up on fire. Such hotness. My gawd. :D
