Allison | 247 comments I just finished The Bond That Ties Us (Eternal Bond, #1) by Christine d'Abo and I've started The Bond That Heals Us (Eternal Bond, #2) by Christine d'Abo . The series is decent. Before that I tried The Kategan Alphas which was okay but seemed to be missing some world building or something, and Kindred Brides which was um, interesting. lol

I also finished listening to Jacob (Nightwalkers, #1) by Jacquelyn Frank and was so surprised at how much I liked this one. It had one of the most unique Demon worlds I've read yet. I don't know why I didn't read it earlier.

Elizabeth Kolodziej (ejkolodziej) | 107 comments Gravely Inanimated: A Tale of Woe and Romance by Esther Wheelmaker

Synopsis: Extra, extra, read all about it: Zombies Invade London!
It has been thirty years since England was plagued by zombies. Humans fear for their lives while the dead kill the living.
By the cover of night, a man known only as Aeron hunts these creatures. On one foggy evening he finds Lucille Knight's life in jeopardy and Aeron's interest is instantly peaked when he saves the young lady.
But Aeron will have competition when Lucy meets Lord Garrett Ashdown, son of the Inventor, Earl Thomas.
Lucy is drawn to the masked man and equally mysterious Lord. With one concealing his true identity and the other hiding a ghastly secret, she does not know which one is less dangerous.
Will she be able to be with the man she chooses when she learns the awful truth?
It is still unclear. And the current edition isn’t spilling the beans just yet…

Yes, if you like dark, dangerous alpha males! It was a good, emotional story - something different than the dark, troubled billionaire Dom books. (Don't get me wrong - I like those too!) Part of the reason I liked it, I think, is because it is different. It's hard to say much without giving away too much.

Hey Silly, YES, you need to read all the books in order! In fact, I re read to get the full effect and still loved it the second time around! Hope you'll feel the same way. Ms. Sylvan, in my opinion, pushed the envelop quite a bit ...either you love her or hate her...not much room in between.

Ward is hard core paranormal-erotic-romance at it's finest. I've learned that her books cannot be rushed thru bc she has lots of side stories and if you rush, you won't get to appreciate the whole picture AND you get really bugged by the distraction. So when that annoyance came about, I went to another book.

I will sometimes reread an old favorite after reading a book that has sucked me in heart and soul. Something I like good enough to reread but one that doesn't drain me emotionally...just an easy read.

P.A. Lupton (palupton) | 909 comments Robin wrote: "Keeping hearing about Real what make it such a great read . I am seeing many who are in love."

It's one of those emotionally charged, disastrous relationships you love to read about. Remy, the hero, is a sexy bad boy that all the girls want yet he falls for the heroine. The way they connect and communicate is fun and there is a TON of sexual tension. This is New Adult so you don't mistake it for mild, it's down right dirty in some parts. I loved it.

Real grabbed me almost immediately and didn't turn me loose for awhile AFTER I finished it! The emotional turmoil in the book is so Real...both characters are emotionally fragile. They have a hard time trusting and expressing emotions so they play songs on their Ipods to confey what they're feeling for each other. The book also has a good plotline with a surprise twist or two. I loved it!
