I love the Lux series, it's one of my favorite series by far, I cannot wait until the next book comes out, and I hope this series will last a while, because I just love love LOOOOVE these books.

the first one is hard to get through, but once you do it gets better from there.

Hi everyone, just joined the group. I'm about 50 pages into 'In the Shadow of Blackbirds' by Cat Winters. It has a great look and feel, and it's started well, building tension for the story to come. I hope it lives up to my expectations.

I just started reading Angels Blood by Nalini Singh, im only a couple of chapters in so far so i dont know whether i hate it or love it yet. But it has an interesting concept to it so far.

I myself am starting the Guild Hunter series by Nalini Singh. I completed books 1 and 2. I am enjoying it so far. But the many names of the cadre, archangels, angels, the 7, and the history is confusing me. I will continue with book 3 as i want to know what happens. I would sum it up in Raphael's favorite word, "intriguing."

Half-Blood has been on my to-read list for a while. Obsidian makes me want to read it sooner than I planned, though. :D

Ooh! I hope Kate Daniels does hook you eventually. The first book is pretty rough, but once Kate met Curran their banter sucked me in. The overall story and world building in the subsequent books is much better. I love Kate, but not everyone hits is off with her.

I read an article and Jeaniene Frost lists it as one of her favorite series. I figure if she likes it I have to give it a chance:) I am liking the second half better.

Finished - 3.5 stars. Didn't quite make it to 4 stars, there was just something about the flow of the writing that didn't feel quite right. Still a good book with characters that felt real.

I am not a straight Laurell K. Hamilton basher BUT just finished ...Even a novella should take longer than 15 minutes to read. This should have been bonus material in the back of a book or offered free on her website. At the very least included it in anthology.
