you would adore the book! its nothing like twilight, its more of a love square rather than a triangle! i loved it and yea it is difficult to get through the first 100 pages but then its so unpredictable, its a lil boring before she actually meets everyone else, but i loved it, the concept was original and the characters were very understandable...

hahaha! sorry for the kinda spoiler, its very heartbreaking when you read Fallen in Love and yea it is boring really boring, but the story picks up from there, i need to re-read the series, i might have forgotten some characters like Miles and the other girl, i don't remember LOL!

Ahhhh! i hadn't read a single Vampire book since umm lets say Immortal Embrace (Embrace, #1) by Charlotte Blackwell which was sooooo utterly lame! i mean people liked it, but it was like a 12yr wrote it, i think 12yr old could have written a better book, heck! i can write a better book....but for a change Vampire Academy was excellent! it was a lot like Half-Blood (Covenant, #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout which was AMAZING!!!!! it was so good, i mean its by far my favourite series...

message 29163: by Lealia (new)

Lealia (snarkysghost) | 2 comments I'm reading "The Remarkable Miss Frankenstein". I'm not loving it, but it's fun and a quick read. I think the idea is very creative. The author takes all of the characters in 19th century English lore (i.e. Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Jekyll, vampires, etc.) and puts them in one humorous piece. It's supposed to be funny. The jokes are a little lame, but the romance is steamy enough. It's a good beach read! :)

Nope, not much longer at all. March 26th! I really enjoyed this one and couldn't put it down until I was finished so I believe it will be well worth the wait!

message 29181: by Sillylittlefishey (new)

Sillylittlefishey | 1025 comments I stayed up into the wee hours last night to finish my ARC of Twice Tempted (Night Prince, #2) by Jeaniene Frost as it was one that I couldn't put down. I think I liked this one better than the first one. Vlad isn't nearly as cocky in it either! Don't get me wrong, he is still an arrogant SOB (but so damn sexy), but more inline with how he was in the Night Huntress books.

Now I started Beyond the Night (Envy Chronicles, #1) by Joss Ware because I have the newly released one of the series, but I wanted to read how the series started first.... so far it's been a slow start for me and I usually avoid the post-apocalyptic stories like the plague.... so please somebody that has read it.... is it possible to like this book and series if you're not a big fan of the world has pretty much ended survival type books? I'm just wondering if I should move on to something else or keep reading....

Half way done with audiobook Dream Lake (Friday Harbor, #3) by Lisa Kleypas , soo good too!

message 29187: by Rosa (new)

Rosa | 1 comments I'm re-reading Prophecy:Child of Light by F.E. Heaton. I want to catch all the details from the trilogy before moving onto the next book in the series. I read many parts so fast ( too excited) that I want to make sure I didn't miss anything crucial to the next book after the trilogy. I really loved the way each book progresses and ads layers to the characters. I like that the books were long enough to keep me happy and did not have useless fluff in my opinion. I recommend reading the three books in order.

Yeah that's understandable, me and my boyfriend bought a house last year, since I am finishing up University. It my own little heaven, lol so nice to have my own place. I have always had a lot of book, half of them are still in the attic at my moms the other half I have packed on the shelves available here :) I don't sell any of my books, not even my childrens books the ones I read when I was younger.. Also have all my school books, they are great reference books.
