I loved them a lot but they were quite similar (hotstuff/shapeshifters). I want to read both series but will have to pace them with other PNR/UF or even contemporary romance or I'll start mixing them up!

I'm ontoArchangel's Blade. Half way through it thinking I would get bored & I actually really like it but seeing I'm reading them back to back I am a little confused as part of one story doesn't fit in with a certain part in the current story. I am not sure if the author forgot what she wrote in the first book or if there's another twist that end's up making sense

I have encountered errors in series like that.. when you know a character is not supposed to do something because of what was said in the earlier books..

or an annoying very small detail that's going to stay in your mind the whole way through (like a kick-ass heroine wearing a "scrunchy" for example..)
maybe it's just me but just that word doesn't fit! lol

I don't like Archangel's Blade very much..it was a difficult reading for me..jeez, i cried a river( but I didn't notice any errors there..would you specify which errors there were? Nalini Singh is a meticulous author, always remembering details and timeline..I can't imagine she made an error )

I am reading Gunmetal Magic by Ilona Andrews. It is set in the Kate Daniels world but following Andrea rather than Kate.

It is ok, I much prefer following Kate though - I love her sword work.
