Hadn't heard of that one yet, but just pulled up the excerpt. I have such a hard time with first-person tales, I have no idea why. I have to fight with myself to make myself read them, though I have read a few shorts written in that style that I enjoyed.

Hi Heather, I don't mind first person, when it's done right it's like 3D reading, You feel like you are inside their head living their adventure. I'm on page 100 and it's not getting any better. I can predict that Violet is going to fall in love with Kaspar. However they are both so dull, I can't read on!

The problem is probably that my first 'first-person' read was 50 Shades, and I will probably catch a lot of heat, but I hated that freaking book. Not the content, I can handle that, but the writing...drove me nuts. Probably scarred me for life and makes me run the other way when I see first-person prose. ;)

I've read a lot of first person books ( Riley Jenson, Cat and Bones to name a few) but she just ruined it with Fifty Shades... I couldn't get through it either but there are a lot of really well Done first Person books out there :)

if this is Laurel... I totally agree. I love here books. Sometimes they get a little more racy then I expect, but she always brings them back around. I know I blush while reading them. I love the Meri Gentry series. I can't wait for her to start up again.

Love that series. I have only read some in random order though.

and now i'm reading

you also can check what I've been reading by checking out my blog at: http://bookloverscoxycafe.blogspot.com

Hi, I loved The Iron Fey series. My favourite is The Iron Queen. I can't wait to read The Lost Prince :)

I enjoyed Angel's Ink...I think it has a lot of potential for a series as a whole....also did you get a chance to check out the prequels? I missed the first one,

I loved the first In Death....some of the others have been hit or miss....but the first one totally sucked me in!

It was so so good!"
I liked that one....but I still liked Kaldar's book better, but then again I loved him from the moment he was introduced in

This is a great YA series!

I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did. I loved how she enticed us with such yummy characters, erotic love scenes and explosive passion.

I really enjoyed the Iron Fey series. I think it was the first YA series I read that I actually did enjoy.
