What are you reading right now?
I just finished listening to
on audible and loved it except I didn't want it to end when it did. Now I'm excited to start listening to
. Audiobooks make house cleaning go by much faster especially when you really really don't feel like it. Plus, I don't see my hubby volunteering!

I'm almost halfway through it and I don't think it's better than At Peace, but it comes to a really close second. Kinda makes you remember For You with some differences.

Loved/loving them all. Very different and unique from each other, but each is well written and enjoyable in a very different way. Beware with Captive in the Dark, it is dark, and not for everyone.

(no, it's not PNR/UF, but plenty of ppl here have recommended it). hunh. I dunno about this. Didn't read the synopsis when I started, read chapter 1, got confused so then read the synopsis. Eh... I am totally not a fan of cheating or even the hint of cheating, so I'm pretty hesitantly continuing it...
I was very conflicted over that book, Ty. Hope you enjoy it more than I did.

. It's full of the poetic, atmospheric writhing that I sometimes love, but I wasn't as engrossed as I had hoped to be. Still it was a good book, and it did capture me more by the end, so I'm really looking forward to the next one.

This was an excellent read and I am not a fan of cheating either. Read it and you will see why we all think it is so good. Have some tissues ready though.

Ty, I HATE cheating and I loved this book. I held off reading it because of the blurb, but people kept raving so I decided to persevere. I am so glad I did because it's one of my favorites now. It's not what you expect, that's all I can say without ruining the book for you.

...there is something to say about third-party validation, huh? especially from this group! My TBR is close to 700 books, my shelf surrently has about 15 books and my reservation at the library maxed out at 20 books...ugh...I'm such a book-hog!

Darynda Jones can do NO wrong when it comes to her writing, world building and character development. Charley Davidson shines, literally in this new installment and we see a new side to her and her abilities and enjoy the smoky hotness that is Reyes Farrow. These two together are a force of nature in every aspect and the supernatural combined. Loved Cookie and her craziness and the snark was off the charts. I can't wait until Book 5.
