Robin Still reading Argeneau series. On book 8 it is a very long series. Not sure if I can read all of them back to back. I like the stories but I am not in"love" ...
Some of the story lines are contrived which I know seems like a funny thing to say in a PNR book. I just feel like she the author thinks we need to have conflict so I am writing it here and I am writing about this. Kind of like pulled out of a hat.i like the characters though and so I keep reading. Lots of books are coming out in January from some of ,y favorite authors. I may just read Kresely Coles new series next .

I didn't think the last three were as good as the first three. Although, I think #6 was a bit better than #5. The magic seems to be gone for me.

Christy (christy_kennedy) | 184 comments Wrapped up the first book in the spin-off series of Elemental Mysteries - Elemental World series by Elizabeth Hunter Building From Ashes (Elemental World, #1) by Elizabeth Hunter . Damn, that woman can write! Enthralling, compelling, intense, raw; incredible storyline and once again Elizabeth fleshes out her characters so completely and builds a world so interesting that even secondary and shadow characters fill the dimensions of this fantastic book. I highly recommend reading this book, but read the Elemental Mysteries series first.

I did like 6 better than 5, but it wasn't as good as #1. I think Ian is the bright spot in the series for me right now:) His perverted comments are right up my alley...maybe that says something about me, but he never fails to make me laugh.

Ty oooooh Lucas. I must grab this soon.

currently reading Grave Mercy (His Fair Assassin, #1) by R.L. LaFevers . I do love assassin heroines. XD

message 26998: by Sillylittlefishey (new)

Sillylittlefishey | 1025 comments I just finished One Grave at a Time (Night Huntress, #6) by Jeaniene Frost , I ended up enjoying it for the most part. I did like the concept of bringing a real villain from the past into the book and fictional world of Night Huntress. I still don't think it was as good as Halfway to the Grave (Night Huntress, #1) by Jeaniene Frost , but it was an improvement over the last several that I've read. I'm starting to really like Ian as well.

Now I'm going to read the Christmas Novella about Cat and Bones before delving into Vlad's book.
