Love, love, love Downside Ghosts. I hope you enjoy it.

your starting a great book - hope you enjoy it

lol, that series is one of the first I put on my wish list on Amazon & my TBR list on here. I STILL haven't gotten around to it & can't see getting to it any time soon. I get into series & can't stop. I am on number 16 of the Dark Hunter series & there's 21 all up I think. I WILL get to it one day soonish.....I hope ;)

When I started with the Chicagoland series I read until the fourth book because I was totally hooked! The books just keep getting better and better. Iknow the fifth and the sixth books are already out, but something happens in the fourth book that made aprehensive to read the other two. But I'll get to it. :)

@Magda, that's ok. There are a lot of different tastes out there and not everybody has to like the same things, or where would the fun be in that?! LOL.

I'm the same way, I was so upset in the end of book 4 that I haven't read 5 and 6 yet.
@Magda, I liked the books but I can see where some people don't. It has a university frat house kind of feel with all the houses. And the romance is slow developing and frustrating sometimes.

Another series I have yet to start!

It's a YA werewolf book and I'm surprised to say I've really enjoyed it.

Oh you can't stop after book 4!!! I would be so depressed if I did. lol

Decided to read

I read two or maybe three and then gave up on them. Your right there's just something missing. It's not a bad read just not a fantastic one....

It's light reading. I find this series hit and miss, but am enjoying this installment."
I really liked that one

oh this is never a good thing haha.
I can deal with slow building relationships. I can even deal with not-so-great first books. The Kate Daniels series definitely fit both of these. As long as the payoff is as good as Kate and Curran, I would be greatly satisfied. XD

And that's just the thing. The Chicagoland series puts your patience to the most extreme tests and then the author, who LOVES cliffhangers btw, just gives you blow after blow. I think it's an amazing series, but my pshychological side just wasn't up for the next read. Someday.

Now I need to know...is this long-drawn out like Fever, with cliffhangers like Fever? Or do you at least get some resolution within each individual book? I can't handle another Feveresque series.

It's a YA werewolf book and I'm surprised to say I've really enjoyed it.

Shifters is one of my fave series! Enjoy!

Just started

I was very irritated with just how sexist all the men were in book 2. It blew my mind at some of the things Faythe let them get away with saying to her. I'm hoping it gets better....

This is fascinating! I love it when there's SUCH a strong reaction to an author's work - it definitely piques my curiosity. Along the same vein, I sometimes inadvertently spoil myself - such as what happened after witnessing the readership uprising to Shadowflame, which I can honestly say is probably the only book on my Maybe-I-Won't-Touch list :D

Well, I'd say that the cliffhangers are a little less mind blowing than the ones of the Fever series, but they still manage to make you senseless.

Shadow world is another great series but a bad cliff hanger on the last one.

Trust me, the books get even better and you will survive and soul shocker. It is taking a different arc and

Glad I'm not the only one that's not *that* into it. (view spoiler)[ I was a Kisten fan and really liked the one book when Rachel was dating him, but it hasn't been the same since he was killed (hide spoiler)] If the publisher wasn't sending me these books, I probably would have given up long ago....["br"]>["br"]>
