So instead, I read [bookcover:..."
LOL...I know how you feel! you just have to force yourself to savor, love it when that happens though.

I would soooo pull a Georgina on Guild Hunter.

We are masochists!!!

Argh...that sucks!!! Izzy and E's longing started back when and this happened??? That happened when we expected more. That said, now that I got your takes, I won't expect much...and maybe it'll be a better read for me...yeah, that's ticket...

Speaking of fun read, I need to jump into this series

I keep wanting to read Kusiel's Dart, but it's so looong.

Trust me, they will continue to go nose to nose at each other; keeping the fun and magic alive! :)

Don't you just love the "Envy" series ... I love the way she created a whole new post apocalyptic world. Awesome!!!

I should copyright that phrase: pulling a Georgina.
I'm actually 50% through now, so I stretched that Georgina waaaaay out. it's soooo good!

Yes, it's quite long but WOW. The writing is truly in the standards of Dune and Outlander series but the plot, whew...heavy, erotic, suspense, loyal to a fault. An epic for sure! Not for the faint of heart but it'll suck you...

Is Dune a stand alone novel or is it a series?

Dune is a series and another epic to behold. It's too sci-fi for me but my sister read both Dune and Outlander, thus the epical comparison. I have to recommend Kushiel's Dart to her. I've seen the movies though...
Don't you agree KD is Outlander's epic & writing standard + with Fifty Shades exotic plot ? + epic war-spy-suspense from Dune. I haven't gotten to Fifty but have been getting bits&pieces of it.

I'm currently reading that, it's really good.

Her Demonica series is the bomb! I've read up until the third one, which was the best so far and I'm eager to read the last two.

I think the first one was my fav.
Just finished Archangel's Storm and gonna start How to Drive a Dragon Crazy

Oh absolutely Kushiel's Legacy is up there with the writing of Outlander, if not better. I think the Outlander story is better, but Jacquelyn Carey's writing skills are phenomenal. As soon as I'm done with the New Species series I think I'm going to start the second trilogy.
KD is similar in the tortured soul and sexual theme.
I am with you, one of the best reads out there.

ooh! Yay! buy kleenex!!"
I'm almost halfway through it and I'm loving it. The scenes with Noah and his brothers are very sad and emotional, before the end of the book I might have to take your advice.

Loved Veil midnight

I just finished number 3, Archangel's Consort. :-( I'm gonna miss Raphael!!

Nikolai is solid and I loved the fact Renata's power can kick some serious ass.Ashes of Midnight on the other hand is taking long for me to get hooked.Andreas Reichen's character is not doing it for me but I will keep reading.

Loved both those books. Enjoy!
