I totally loved First drop of Crimson - such fantastic characters! :)



Read it, read it, read it! It's amazing how likeable and sympathetic the author has managed to make a drug addict. It's very dark and gritty and intense, but soooo good!

Thanks for the recommendation :) they're in my huge TBR pile. Actually bought the first 3 books to the series months ago just haven't been able to get to them but I'm definitely going to read then soon.

I have read that series. The first book was not my favorite but the rest of the series is pretty good. I am glad I did not stop with the first book because they definitely got better.


You will love Hawke's book. I promise. It is one of the best books I read last year. I felt the same way about the few books before Hawke's, but everyone told me to read all the books.


btw..anyone know a series similar to this romance/comedy/sci-fi with a bit of steampunk thrown in?

I hope she does a lot more on this series, it seems so long in between books. I find this series is unique to all the other's out there on the market.

How did you like WICKED NIGHT? I'm picking it up from the library after finishing Dying Wish.

I haven't gotten to it yet unfortunately :( all my group reads have me on lock down and honestly my TBR pile is way way too huge but ill get to it eventually. But of course you'll probably read it way before me so let me know how tour like it :)
