I agree that he was definitely a controlling jerk a lot of the time but I don't mind that so much in my book men....in RL he would be dead though. LOL.

Nina (msralways) | 528 comments I just finished Destined for an Early Grave (Night Huntress, #4) by Jeaniene Frost and it was even better then the lastone which I said was the best. Totally changed my mind and I think I'll be changing my mind about the next one too. I Finally understand all the fuss about the Night Huntress series. Frost is a genius!

Shera (Book Whispers) (sherabookwhispers) | 229 comments I think it's all the region things. The art, publisher houses, and stuff like that. It has to region approved so all the "right people" make money off of the book. In my mind it's just like trying to get foriegn films and stuff--which the actually have improved a lot on.

I'm sure books will get there soon.

Samantha Mullins (hixxup79) ok so I have finished Vampires Are Forever (Argeneau, #8) by Lynsay Sands & Fair Game (Alpha & Omega, #3) by Patricia Briggs & Once Burned (Night Prince, #1) by Jeaniene Frost all in the last 24-36 hours... all good books too. :D

It's my favorite series. And you have so many still ahead of you. I loved Spade and Mencheres' stories too, and now Vlad. I just finished Once Burned (Night Prince, #1) by Jeaniene Frost and loved it. I also finished Kissin' Tell (Rough Riders, #13) by Lorelei James and Two Masters for Alex by Claire Thompson Now I'm reading Full Moon Rising (Riley Jenson Guardian, #1) by Keri Arthur I hear it's good.

Tellulah Darling (tellulahdarling) I was so very excited to finally read Lover Reborn (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #10) by J.R. Ward and then soooo disappointed that is was a giant, boring slog. I couldn't give a damn about the Tohr and No'One story. It was so whiny. I'm still totally in for the Blay and Qhuinn book but after that, not sure I'll keep going with the series.

Tellulah...I agree with you on Lover Reborn. I wanted to love it and I thought some parts were brilliant including the end but alot of the book was rather annoying and I think it was mostly the heroine. I just didn't like her.

Meanwhile I'm listening to How to Marry a Millionaire Vampire (Love at Stake, #1) by Kerrelyn Sparks , which is nice enough, though the beginning was a lot funnier than the rest.

When you finish the Riley series there's a spin off. Later on in the books you'll meet Risa she's just a little kid during the Riley series. Now she has her own series and it's really good you get a lot of the Riley characters in it. I'm about to read #3 next week. The first one is Darkness Unbound (Dark Angels, #1) by Keri Arthur

Michelle(Chelle) aka Nightshade - Cake Whisperer (michmag) Good to know Jenne - thanks for the heads-up.

I got to go see Jeaniene Frost last night at a book signing at my local Barnes & Noble. She was so nice and funny. I picked up Once Burned there and had her sign it. Will start on it today I hope. She gave away bracelets with some of the main male characters names. Bones bracelet says "I like it rough", Menecheres says "I like it mindblowing" and Vlad's says "I like it hot". She also had one for Spade and one for Ian but I didn't get those.

Nina (msralways) | 528 comments I don't have it in me to read Drink Deep (Chicagoland Vampires, #5) by Chloe Neill until Biting Cold (Chicagoland Vampires #6) by Chloe Neill is out. After that HUGE cliffhanger at the end of the fourth book, my heart can't take it if I don't have the next book for me to read right away.

Oh, and I'm reading Gabriel's Inferno (Gabriel's Inferno, #1) by Sylvain Reynard and I only have one word for it right now: peculiar. Don't really know how I feel about the whole story and characters yet.

A bit. I think everything just seemed to drag on much too long and the writer lost me.

Here is my review of the book.

Cmkage | 231 comments I finished Once Burned (Night Prince, #1) by Jeaniene Frost yesterday and absolutely loved it.

Today I'm going to try to finish How to Marry a Millionaire Vampire (Love at Stake, #1) by Kerrelyn Sparks and Evernight (Evernight, #1) by Claudia Gray since I need them for some of the monthly challenges. How to Marry a Millionaire is a nice enough read and I've only got about 25% left of the audio book. Evernight unfortunately has been very disappointing so far. I'm hoping it gets better, but somehow I doubt it.
