What are you reading right now?
I finished
it was a decent quick little read. Now I'm working on
I love this author. She is by far my favorite non PNR author. Her books suck you in.
I think a bunch of us will be reading Vlad's story when it's out. I know I will drop whatever I'm reading and start it about 2 seconds after I get it. My husband and kids have already been warned to stay far away from me on th e26th because that and
is out on the same day. i'll be reading Once Burned first then straight into the other. I may even skip sleeping. LOL
Who knew summer vacation would make me more busy? I am in the middle of several books. I finished

, it was OK. I don't have the rest of the series yet so I am waiting on that one until after Kitty. I am also reading

Oh, come on. It's not THAT bad. I'm sure we've all read a lot worse. It just suffers in comparison to the rest of the series. I think two books in a row without shifters as a main character was the real problem. We want our cats and wolves, darn it!

: nearly over the top humor that has you laughing out loud at times. But Kitty is a strong, confident woman without some of Charlie's issues, so it's a different brand of humor.

and really enjoyed it. I needed a change up from the usaul PR/UF.

It is exactly the way I pictured him. Cannot wait to read Tell's story too. It is going to be so good.

It's taken awhile but I'm getting into

I stopped joining group reads as you all read in fast forward mode while I read snail like lol so I still read the posts but I wait til I have finished. It's the only reason I haven't really jumped on the group reads stuff but I will try my hardest & have found I am getting faster ;)

So disappointed in this book, I think the main characters are just not interesting.

I have been reading books with my latest kick-shifters....but honestly, I really don't love them as much as I enjoy other PNR. I think it is that I just haven't found the right ones. The romance in them just pales compared to a good vampire romance. Is it me? or the books I have chosen?

The romance ..."You know shifters just don't do it for me. There is nothing attractive to me about having your bones realigned into an animal. I've always preferred vamp stories to shifter stories.

The romance ..."Glancing through your shifters catagory I'd say it's your selection, which seemed more erotica. Nothing wrong with that except the storyline is generally not as strong.. I tend to prefer a good shifter book over the vamps. A good example would be the Kate Danials series....
Or the Shifter series. 1st book not so great, subsequent books are excellent.
