I can't wait to start A fall of water but will start later this week. I get excited every time I see someone reading it and liking it. I hope it doesn't let me down.

Looking forward to it.

The good think Jenne is that the author is releasing Carwyn's book in the winter of 2012 called: Building from Ashes: Elemental World
"For a thousand years, powerful earth vampire Carwyn ap Bryn has served others. God. His family. His friends. But tragedy and loss disrupt his peaceful existence, causing him to question everything he has committed his eternity to.
Brigid Connor has known about vampires since they rescued her from a painful childhood. But not even their vast elemental power can save her from the demons that torment her.
As loyalties are tested and new paths are forged, a lurking danger slowly grows in the Elemental World. Carwyn and Brigid learn that even secrets revealed can come back to haunt you when you least expect it."

If you liked the Restorer, the series continues in Book 2 The Kingdom and Book 3 The Prophet... I found it an intriguing series and a bit different from the usual vamps and shifters.

...I connected and knew exactly how she felt about a great book. So glad we have something in common too.

It started a little slow but more than made up for it by the middle of the book. IMO there was a lot of growing up in this book and I felt everything was answered and concluded nicely.

I'm over halfway in and I must admit this one has really failed to hit the mark like the others.

This was one of the slowest books in the series for me. I liked it, but it just didn't suck me in like most of the others. But it was worth it to get to the next one with Drew. And you're almost to Hawke's book....

Will I like the next book if I just skip this one or do you recommend sticking it out. It's not bad, it's just not grabbing me.

I really loved this series. The men are so deliciously bad.

Now it is definitely picking up and I'm getting into it. I'm 80% in and I can't really connect with neither of the main characters. I'm not saying they're bad, on the contraire, I think they have a very good dynamic but there are better couples out there. :)

I agree. But I had fun reading it.

It has its perks. :)

that's what keeps me going. I'm not a fan of these series as much as others. The writing is good, just not really into the characters much. But I wanna stick it out until Hawke and Serena. 10 books in, I figured that's giving it a chance, right? haha.

I wouldn't recommend skipping books in that series since there is such a strong overall plot.

I've had that book in my tbr pile for ages, but there is always some other book that I decide to read. Maybe I should finally get started on it though...

Out of the whole series, this was my least favorite. I could barely finish. Everyone encouraged me to finish because of the secondary stories.

ungh, fine, I'll read it LOL

Loved that book. I listened to the audiobook and the narrator (Kate Reading, I think?) was amazing the way she could do both female protags so smoothly.

You haven't heard of it? It this thing that I like to call and amazing series. I've just finished the last book and I was so bumped to let those incredibly fantastic characters go.
