That's why I still have it still open to finish...one of these days.

I know friend, I know i'll love it and hook on it. I just kept picking up new books coming back helping out at the library.

How do you like 50 Shades of Grey so far??

I had never been so happy to finish a book before... it wasn't *bad* writing...there's a lot more for the reader to ascertain on their own, maybe too much. I read a review that this was supposed to be a romance for "smart readers". Pfffffff - I rather be force fed than having to spend hours going back to reread passages and doubting my sanity. I AM interested in the H/h pairing in the 2nd book, but I don't think I'll be returning to this series any time soon. Need a breather. which I'm taking with

I am reading this right now for the first time. Enjoying it!

Nope I didnt read it until last week. So you arent the only one :)

YAY! More Cassie fans is a goood thing! :D

hahahahahaha.....are you sure that is what you meant P.A.????

Yeah! I love this series. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I haven't read it yet either. I'm up to (or is it down to?) 22 on the library wait list. I'm probably going to get it in about a week, and honestly, I have no desire to read it now. I've been hearing so much hype about it since the end of last year that I'm convinced I'm probably not even going to like it. Which hopefully means I will be pleasantly surprised.

...M.Brook..."smart readers", hmmm... not that there are "dump readers" BUT I can speak for myself, there ARE times I needed just simple-stupid-sexy-storyline read, as long as there are great chemistry, dialogs & characters...I'm good. Agreeing with "smart readers" for M.Brook, her styles, plots and foundations she built for her worlds ARE the most complex I've yet read. Unfortunately, not a lot of readers have the interest, focus and patience to absord all of it. I did struggled but not giving it up yet...

Limiting it to series primarily about shifters, my top choices are:
Psy/Changeling by Nalini Singh
Mercy Thompson by Patricia Briggs
Kate Daniels by Ilona Andrews (although main character is not a shifter, shifters plays a huge role)
World of the Lupi by Eileen Wilks (again main character is not a shifter)
Kitty Norville by Carrie Vaughn

Annie: Lol phew! I'm not the only one :)
Christine: I understand what you mean. I've wanted to read it for a while (so many people seem to like it here) but by the time I got it, I had to force myself to even pick it up. But I'm pleasantly surprised to see it's not all to bad. All the hype surrounding it is getting annoying though.

I am giving away 20 copies of my book to the first twenty people to comment or review the book on this link. We need twenty reviews then the book will be up for sale on amazon.com. Once it is up for sale all copies will be sent to the first twenty people who gave a review or comment on this link. I will need emails from all twenty participants thanks.

Nope not the last person...I haven't read it and I'm undecided if I'm going to or not....I just saw it in the goodreads giveaways though if anyone's interested...

Some of the books in this series were ok to me and some were really good, but Shadowfever was awesome and it made the whole series worthwhile!!

ooooh, I love the breeds. LOL Good solution. Plus, whenever I read a UF or YA I need some steamy sex after.
**Edit** I meant to read some steamy sex after. LMBO that sounded bad.
