That's what I do. I listen to audio books on the treadmill. It's great to pass the time. However, people do look at me strangely when I suddenly burst out laughing in the middle of the gym. I'm dreading the day I start crying on the treadmill because the audio book I listen to is sad.

I cannot read on the treadmill but I can on the eliptical. .

I cried to Hunger Games while driving to work one day. My co-workers thought something terrible had happened when they saw my red rimmed eyes. I wasn't embarrassed at all to tell them something terrible did happen... in a book :-)

Thanks darling. Yup have it too and plan to read it soon. Thanks for the heads up.

that is too funny! During a boring work meeting, I was thinking about the events of Mockingjay and, to my horror, my eyes started tearing up. Rapid blinking ensued.

Thanks! I will definitely try that book when I'm ready for another big emotional ride.

I love all the Lords and the Ladies. Anya cracks me up. Lucien and Anya are my fav. Love William, he is a scene stealer just like Maris in Darling book.

Yes Ty, I'm able to combine my favorite 2 hobbies. The trick is distraction. Distract yourself with a great read and at the same time, distract yourself from the pain & time on the machine, hint, the naughtier the book, the better the distraction. I can always count on Lorelei James to do the trick!

I'm so sad it got over.. Hope there is more of Rhage in Rest of the series..

I loved Rhage too! You got plenty more to read on, enjoy.

I know, it's a lot easier on the elliptical but I needed to switch things.
BTW, I have to save the last 30 pages of DARKEST SEDUCTION for tonight. OMG, it's crazy and I just have to save it for bedtime story read. Thanks for encouraging to read-on. Have a great day.

My Kindle audiobook sucks. It doesn't have an option to go back if I missed something, and I do do that often if I'm with someone, plus I do go back often just for the heck of it. Anywho, I have one of those huge magnet clip for your fridge. Its clip and magnet are strong enough to spread the book open so you can lean it on the machine and just work your butt off. Plus it covers the time & mileage so you don't have to annoy how slow it runs.

oooh, clever! Added bonus to cover up the time. I tend to torture myself checking it too ofter. Ugh.

I am enjoying this book...it is different from the first book...I like the conversation that Gabriel and Julie have about why there is so much goodness or evil in the world. I wish I knew a Julia in my life who looked at the world the way she does.

It just keeps getting better...one of my favorite series.

yeay Aestas.....I cried all over this book and was that end to die for? Anytime you put little children or puppies in a story it ramps up the emotion factor. I finished this and had the same relaxation factor you get when you've had a good cry.

I will. I can't start until tonight though--too much work. Unfortunately, I haven't figured out how to make a living just reading all day everyday.

I was thinking of starting up The Dresden Files on audio. Never did audio, seems kinda strange to me to listen to my books, but after learning that
SpikeJames Marsters was reading, I immediately became starry-eyed... Treadmill sounds perfect for this!
