What are you reading right now?

LOL - they have been on my TBR forever but other books just kept getting in the way. A sweet, enabling, Bookworm threatened my life if I didn't read them....*snickers*

I love KMM's Highlanders! Nobody writes them the way that she does.

Totally agree! I fell in love with KMM when I read those Highlanders of hers :) they're the best!

I must've been in a funk the first time I picked it up because it's hysterical!

I am on the third book (Freed) and I really like the story. ..."
You'll love them! But I agree with Renee, there pretty erotic :P I have about 25% left of Fifty Shades Freed and I'm so sad it's almost over!

I don't mind that, i sometimes read erotica.
TarynXO: enjoy your last bit of the book!

HAHAHA, why doesn't that surprise me? Bookie has asked me to let her know when I get to some other character's books in the series. I am keeping my eye on it. I have found myself thinking about the last part I read the night before while working. I only ever do that with great series. I was determined to read the fever series & had heard both sides saying to read this series first, then Fever but I have also been told I don't need to so I am happy I started with these seeing I love them so much. I even googled a name of a warrior (I can't say without ruining it for you) to see if it were only a Scottish myth but have found it supposedly existed ;)

Thank you, its quite the roller coaster! haha

Now I'm reading a book I won last year sometime that I'm just now getting to....it's not paranormal at all.

Just in time Jennifer because the sequel comes out on May 22nd:

~One of my all time favorite series~

I did not think I would like the Love at Stake series but it is very good. I have enjoyed most of them. There have been a few that just did nothing for me.

I just put those on my TBR and now I must move them to a higher place. They sound really good.

Katya, II completely agree. They are frustrating & still I can't bring myself to look away. I had a "Luke....I am your father" moment last night. I am now onto the fourth & I know I wont be able to take a break. I bet (as my usual) I will read them one straight after the other

I just started this book Beyond the Highland Mist as well!

I'm missing them too!
Can't wait to read:

I hope you enjoy: Corralled: A Blacktop Cowboys Novel
I haven't read that series yet!

I think I'm in the minority but I did not care for this book. Started out good but the author lost me after 150 pages or so. I doubt that I will bother with book 2.

I reread the series last month, way too early, and have been struggling on starting a new book. Don't want to start a new series until AFTER Tangle of Need. Just started Diary of a Mad Fat Girl, its pretty funny, but short.

Midnight Breed Series

or
Dark-Hunter Series

or
Kate Daniels

or
Chicagoland Vampires

As you can tell I've been given so many awesome suggestions but its impossible to make a decision!! I really love a series that just sucks you in and helps you escape reality! Some of my favorites soo far...Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress Series, Karen Marie Moning's Fever Series, Charlaine Harris's Sookie Stackhouse, J R Ward's BDB Series, Laurell Hamilton's Anita Blake/ Merry Gentry Series etc, etc ...so many!!

Would you recommend the series? Someone once told me it was similar to Jeaniene Frost Night Huntress Series. Would you agree with this? I love Night Huntress Series but found it difficult to believe the statement BUT wouldn't be upset if I was proven wrong!!

The major difference is Night follows one coulpe, while Argeneau has new couples each book. This matters to some readers. I read the first Sands books and they were okay and kind of funny, but they didn't suck me in like Night Huntress series. Quirky is the word I'd use to best describe the Argeneau family.

Yes, Argeneau is much "lighter" than Night Huntress. Ones I found more similar to it are Chicagoland Vampires, Kate Daniels, Mercy, Georgina Kincaid or Riley Jenson

Fortunately I am finishing up this series just in time for the newest release. I can't believe I waited so long for it. Great read!!!
