I have that on my shelf to read, but I have heard that a lot of people think that the rest of the series is much better than the first book.

I started with Dreams of a Dark Warriorand loved it! Hunger isn't even in my top 50 books but the series is in my top 3 - this is a "dont' judge the series by its first book" type. Pick a random one from further down the line.

I couldnt get into it either and left the series at that one.

This is the book I liked against my will. The whole time I was reading it I kept thinking that these characters are all behaving in exactly the way I hate. Doing and saying things that usually have me rolling my eyes and saying "Oh puh-lease!". But for some bizarre reason, I was totally sucked in and couldn't put it down. I think there is some weird spell attached to the book that triggers for some readers. I liked the next one No Rest for the Wicked much better and am about halfway through the one after that.

so far so good"
Let me know how you like it i am not sure if i wanted to buy it after the last 2 books...

Ash is very good and i like it, though the ending, at the moment, is kind of disappointing me.
Never Let Me Go... well, i'm kind of reading this book because my boyfriend said its good. I've only gotten past about ten pages and its confusing me though i'm determined to finish it :)

Ooh, Christine, I can't wait to finish it now....

I didn't really get into this series till book 4, then it just kept on getting better and better...the last two in the series were 5 stars for me.

That's tricky. I loved the series so much. I think you will like book 2.

Senile is good. I just wrote you to encourage you to read the book anyway. I am glad you did. I liked book 2 better than book 1.

Too funny. I have to agree with you. there were parts that made me roll my eyes but I was frickin' addicted to it. I love the IAD series. One of my top five.

I LOVED

I LOVED

Not far in but I'm really enjoying it so far

Lots of folks love this series. I read a few others in the series but couldn't get into it either. I found it mediocre. But then we are all different. I am sure there are books I rave about that others hate! LOL

Now reading and enjoying

LOVED The Kingdom....I am in the middle of The Prophet now....She is a terrific author.

It's funny how we end up reading the same series at the same time. I just started

I LOVED

I started this one last night, so far I'm enjoying it, its about a gargoyle, I always wanted to read about a gargoyle as the main character

The Dark Rulers has been the best series I've read this year. I've been telling everyone to read it! The next one

Pansy, you're right, I love book 2, soooo glad didn't pass it up. Should finish it by tonight. It's kind of a good thing that I've read book 3 bc my heart would break to pieces and constantly tearing. It's the most emotional read in the trilogy. That said, I loved the 3rd book too, but it's action-packed, exciting and filled with strategizing, betrayals, kick-ass heroines and romance too.

I read the first in this series months and months ago. I really enjoyed it and went out and bought the other two, but still haven't read them! I need help.

ooo i really want to read that! Didn't the latest one just come out a day or 2 ago as well? *sigh* I love Kenyon's writing :

im still trying to get through

I was totally sold with the Fallen series until I read
