P.A. Lupton (palupton) | 909 comments I finished Connected (Twists of Fate, #1) by Jolyn Palliata and it was really good. I also read The Gamble (Colorado Mountain, #1) by Kristen Ashley which was just so-so for me. Now I don't know what to read.

I do love that series but it didn't happen until the 3rd book. I think a lot of series are like that--the 3rd book seems to be the magic number.

Christy (christy_kennedy) | 184 comments I just wrapped up Blood Rage (the Dream-Walker War) by Tory Michaels . I was pleasantly surprised about this book. It's a good start to the four book series from Tory Michaels "The Dream-Walker series". Book 2
Blood-Mage Rising (The Dream-Walker War Book 2) by Tory Michaels is next.

message 22456: by Christine (new)

Christine | 1127 comments I finished two great reads today: Doubletake (Cal Leandros, #7) by Rob Thurman and Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days, #1) by Susan Ee .

The Cal Leandros series is one of my favorites, and fortunately Doubletake was another great addition to the series. Although not quite as great as last year's Blackout for me, but she did introduce a whole new twist to the story.

Angelfall was just Wow! So much going on, at times almost too much, but I really wish I could read the next one right now!

Me too, Pam. I loved the tension in the cliffhanger in the last book and can't wait to see how it all is resolved

I agree. I really enjoyed both books. I can't wait for the 3rd book to come out later this year, I think.

I liked Lover Reborn (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #10) by J.R. Ward , but the conclusion could have played out better. In my opinion, it was definitely better than the last book in the series!

I am currently reading The Iron King (Iron Fey, #1) by Julie Kagawa , and I have been reading it for a while. It isn't holding my interest, and I continue to put it back on the shelf in order to read other books.

Delaney Reimers (delaneyakafrog) | 347 comments OMG. I haven't posted on here since the 25th of March, geeze. I would like to say I read all the post between then and now but I won't lie. I can say I have missed reading them and chatting about the books we've read but I have been super busy. Here's what I have read since then.
The Demon Kiss (Of Witches and Warlocks, #2) by Lacey Weatherford Lover Revealed (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #4) by J.R. Ward Bitten (Bitten #1) by Merrill Gemus Brianna (Celestial Passions, #1) by Judy Mays Haunting Grace (Beyond Time, #1) by Elizabeth Marshall Compelled (The Adam Chronicles, #2) by Carla Krae Victoria Gardella Vampire Slayer (Gardella Vampire Chronicles, #1.5) by Colleen Gleason

Can say the Victria book was a lot shorter then I thought it would be
And Brianna was really good. I got it free off amazon but I would have definitely have bought it and can't wait to read the next. It was something like the Kindred beast series but not. Would recommend it.

Oh, me too amy. I absolutely loved the first four books but then the style of writing changed somewhat and even though I still read them to catch up with jamie and Claire somehow the magic is just not the same. Too wordy and detailed for me i think and less emotive storytelling maybe.

message 22481: by Pansy (new)

Pansy | 740 comments Just finished Knight (The Unfinished Heroes, #1) by Kristen Ashley and I must say that I could not put this book down. It was recommended to me by someone on this thread and I am so glad I read it. If you want to read a book about the ultimate bad boy, and I mean take him or leave him because he ain't goin' to change, then this is the book for you. Add in some bondage, spanking and crazy, sexy alpha tendencies then this is your book. There was one thing made me say "eeww" and if you can get over it then you will enjoy this book. This book is not for the squimish or who cannot take a lot of cursing.

I pre-ordered my copy already since I remembered that I can buy books through my jobs .com and get my discount on top of the sale price and free shipping if I order from the store lol I got The Prophet (Graveyard Queen #3) by Amanda Stevens and Into the Dreaming (with bonus material) by Karen Marie Moning for $23.

Girl, you will be twisting in your seat by the second chapter. Let us know when you read it. There are sections that will have your mouth hanging open and parts that will make you laugh and like I said, some that make you say "Ew".
