Neither did I. I ended up only giving it a 2 star--I wasn't sold on the romance at all."

I just started reading it last night. When I first started reading the series and was reading Dark Lover (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #1) by J.R. Ward , I always thought they were leading up to a Thor book next with all the talk of Wellsie and the baby, but Thor's book has taken a long time to get here and I've wondered if it was *too late*. I'm not super excited about his book and especially with No'One, but I have to read it because it is a BDB book and the last few I wasn't excited about (JM & Rehv's)I really enjoyed...so we shall see.

I LOVE Lassiter and will be so sad when he leaves...but I just saw something that said the Warden said there will be a Lassiter book so who knows...knowing my luck it will be the Fallen Angels series that I don't read instead of BDB.

Sillylittlefishey | 1025 comments Ok I finished Everlasting (Kissed by an Angel, #5) by Elizabeth Chandler and am really ready for that series to be over. But she left a segue for another book...ugh

Now I'm finally getting to spend time with my brothers...reading Lover Reborn (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #10) by J.R. Ward ...I'm amazed at how much I forgot from Lover Unleashed...I had read it when it first came out and so I started reading Lover Reborn and have been a little lost at times as I completely forgot about Xcor and his band of bastards and I even forgot about No'One....

I read another 100 pages last night, and I'm not quite as irritated today as I was yesterday. But every time I start to emotionally connect with one of Tohr's scenes, she jumps off to some other character. Please, can't I just read about Tohr for more than four or five pages at a time?

I just finished her latest book Bear Meets Girl (Pride, #7) by Shelly Laurenston . It was good but not her best. Her last two books have not been on my favorites list. It is a shame because I love this series so much. They are still funny but not my favorite characters. I will continue to read.

I finished but it was not my fav. Why does she keep bringing in these characters that we know nothing about and have not chemistry. There are so many characters that we know that she could hook up. One of the Reed boys or one of the lion's sisters. I love this series so much.

Thank God for all the back stories and the BoB stories.....because without them I am not sure I would finish this book.

You know what get's me.....is that when you lose someone you love and are devistated by the hole that is left in your life....What a therapist would tell you is that you need to rebuild a life that is different from the one in which you shared with that special someone. And in this new life you create other diversions, activities and things that make you happy. You stand up on your own two feet and try to find happiness in other things. I am pretty sure no one tells you, you have to fall in love with someone else so you can let go of the hurt and then you'll be happy again.

As for no'One...well...I know that many may not agree with me...but that chick has taken feeling sorry for yourself to all new heights. How many years has she been hiding in that robe not enjoying life? You want to see suffering women? Go read a couple of the Sentinel Wars' books by Shannon Butcher....in Dying Wish, Jackie was taken by demons kept in a cage underground, tortured, abused, her mind altered, poisoned and impregnated with demons for a couple of years.....no'One was raped...I get it...but come-on......and I just don't see or feel the electricity between no'One and Tohr....

I DO love how Ward is writing the inner workings of Tohr's heart and mind....I thought the scene where he (view spoiler) is incredibly touching and really broke my heart....I love Lassiter and his role in this story. And I am thrilled that Ward is not dwelling so much on the Lessors story as she usually does....wonderful stuff. All in all this is an improvement on her last couple books and I am glad to see it. But I better finish this book before I decide.

If I remember correctly, she didn't fall for the brother, he trapped her. I loved the pace-it was so exciting & edgy, the plot was engrossing, the characters were so richly colored that you can't help but devour them. It's been awhile but I was pleasantly surprised how much I loved the book.

Same as the first one left on a cliff hanger can't wait to read the last one.

Katya I would say this book is not for the faint hearted, there are some sex scenes I was uncomfortable with. But I will say I have never read a book that has left more frustrated (in a good way) and begging for the next book to come out.

I'm with you. Part of me just wants to tell almost all of these characters to grow up and get over themselves. There have been a couple of moments with Tohr remembering his Wellsie that almost brought me to tears. (view spoiler) But at the same time, Wellsie would not have wanted him to mope around like this either. And didn't in one of the earlier book's Lassiter deliver that message to him anyway. ANd I don't like (view spoiler)

It's always a roller coaster ride for me with the Brothers.
