What are you reading right now?

I'm probably going to re-read the series again in July, just before

you should give The Bloodhound Files a go as well."
I actually started reading Dying Bites a while back, but haven't finished it yet. So far, I like the world-building, but I'm not a big fan of the main character. I don't know why, but she just keeps annoying me. The plot seemed interesting though, and I still want to finish the book. I just keep getting distracted by other books...

awww Pansy. i'm sorry that happened. i got a Laurell k. Hamilton book like that. it was the abridged edition of her book. i ended up re-listening to the book once i got the unabridged version. just small parts were taken out, but they were a bit important. at least to me cause it was about my favorite characters.

OMG Abby, what a treat you have in your line-up! And Rhev's my favorite! enjoy.

Lychee, Mencheres' book wasn't my fav either but i did enjoy the spin off. Spade was my fav =) waiting on Vlad's and hopefully one day Ian's book.

Finished

Waiting patiently for my library to order BURNING ALIVE. Enjoy!

I'm loving Liberty's voice and her character. It's read by someone else, thank God bc Liberty is so much more mature and Haven. That said, she didn't do Hardy's voice as well but this was the younger Hardy.
Isn't funny that this series is called The Travises and yet Hardy was in main character in the first 2 books?

I'm with you...these kids CAN ACT. They made me cry more than the books. I should have known better and brought a whole box of tissue, sigh...embarrassing...

Lucky you, is it a tear-jerker? so nervous, I loved Wellsie.

I'd drop everything for BDB but I'm with you, nervous for Tohr's new shellan.

Yes, my tears have been jerked (already) but maybe I'm not a good gauge...um, especially with the wine. So much from waaaay far back has come forward and that is good. JR is the master at tying up loose ends. I'm not too far into it but so far just totally loving it.

yeah, i see what u mean. he was definitely a big thought for Liberty, but i loved who she ended up with. and for sure he's definitely in #2. he's not so major in three though (if i remember correctly. hehe). but i guess Kleypas named the series based on the three siblings: Gage, Haden and Jack. i was a bit surprised at the series title too cause the only one that was really about a Travis was Blue Eyed Devil. but then again it's hard to say who the book was more about, Haden or Hardy cause he had such a large role.

I finished book #2 and loved Gage so I know he'll end up with Liberty. BTW, it's Haven. At least that's what it said on the audiobook. I didn't bother borrowing the book since I was on roadtrip to TN.

I'm currently reading Amanda Hocking's Switched, and very much enjoying it.

Starting

I know what you mean. Thankfully I got it for free! I think it had the potential to be good, it just needed a lot more editing before being published.

i hope you warm up to it, its worth it - well i think it is anyways :P
the world building in book 3 is insane! Barant has such a vivid imagination!

I totally agree! I feel like I'm reading one of the older BDB books.

I'm loving it, it's like getting back into the groove with Tohr's book

Not that I'd spoiled your fun...Rhev surprised at so many levels. Rhev left an impression like no other, maybe bc Lover Avenged was my first BDB. Yes, I read it out of order (before my GR days, of course), I totally picked it up bc of the cover, yum. In fact, I'm pretty sure it was my first "adult" PRN after Twilight Saga...yup...I'm a really late late bloomer.

What's next??? I'm needing to switch genre while I enjoy the afterglow of Bones. Though I've picked some PNR treasures, I'm saving them for another week.
I love Shiloh Walker, but this series is brand new to me. Anyone read it yet?

I couldn't agree more. This book started off with a bang and hasn't slowed down. Lovin' Lassiter too!!!!

How was Infamous? I am waiting for it to arrive this week with

Not that I'd spoiled your fun..."
I love Rehv!

Thanks Jennifer, I'm hoping it will show up at my library before too long. I'm needing lots of questions answered.

I really liked Nicks character in the Dark Hunters series and I know that it was bound to come to his own stories. And I found I had alot of unanswered ?'s when I started this series.

I'm glad to read all the positive chatter about Lover Reborn. I wasn't as excited about the last one.

I am loving the Psy-Changeling series the I can't wait to get back to it."
I love both of th..."
I have to say I'm sucker for both types of heroines. As long as the story moves and keeps me interested.
I love both series. I'm trying to pace myself so I don't miss out on the joy of the details in Lover Reborn because I have about 5 books I'm itching to get to.
