Does anyone know if this was the final book in the LOTU series? I didn't think it was but with so many things being wrapped up. ***Spoilers**** No more hunter enemies, Cronus/Rhea dead, a new Queen and King (on the Lords side). It seems unlikely that the same storyline could be continued within this series. I was hoping to get a book for Torin, Cameo, and William the Ever Randy!!

I also trying to catch up on Phantom (The Vampire Diaries The Hunters, #1) by L.J. Smith since Moonsong (The Vampire Diaries The Hunters, #2) by L.J. Smith has came out. I am trying to refresh my memory. I was actually in the process of reading The Dark Hunter Series however I have extinguished my monthly buying budget on Amazon.com so I have to wait until next month to purchase the remaining books in the series.

Delaney Reimers (delaneyakafrog) | 347 comments It feels like forever since I posted on here. Here's what I have read since the last time I posted, I think, The Rest Falls Away (Gardella Vampire Chronicles, #1) by Colleen Gleason , A Hidden Witch by Debora Geary , and Lover Awakened (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #3) by J.R. Ward

The Rest Falls Away was great. Thanks to everyone who recommended it when I asked. It ended in a way I didn't see coming and now I can't wait to see what happens in the next one.
A Hidden Witch I can't say anything about except that I just love this trilogy and am sad that I only have 1 more to read and then the spin off that is a trilogy, too, I think. It isn't really a romance but I love it all the same. The characters and their relationships are great.
Lover Awakened was absolutely fabulous. Z is still my favorite brother and loved reading his story.

Now it's on to Neophyte by Emmalee Aple , The Demon Kiss (Of Witches and Warlocks, #2) by Lacey Weatherford , The Vampire Queen's Servant (Vampire Queen, #1) by Joey W. Hill and hopefully Victoria Gardella Vampire Slayer (Gardella Vampire Chronicles, #1.5) by Colleen Gleason

Bridget's Quiet Corner (chaptersandscreens) I am currently reading:

The Reckoning
by Kelley Armstrong

This is the last book in the series & I actually enjoyed the whole series..This is the first one I've actually finished in a while...Most I dont get past the first book, and if I do, I usually don't make it past the second....Although there is one or two series that I'm waiting for the next book to come out so I can move forward in the series.

Summary for the book: {I will just put up the link for it..yes, it's a Good Reads link} :-)

Maybe that's what I need to do...If I don't like book 1 in a series, try the next one..because there are man times I believe I would love a series but the first book sets me off..or I get through the first feeling okay about it, get to the second and Im ready to just throw the book at the wall...lol..But, usually, If I strongly dislike the first, I wont make it to the second...Although there are many series that I want to finish but that first book is keeping me from doing so because the book was such a 'bore' for me...

Christine | 1127 comments DemetraP wrote: "@Christine: I heard that the Hunger Games was pretty dark. Would you say that it is?"

It would probably depend on how sensitive you are to death and just how cruelly human beings can treat one another. It is pretty violent, but it's not that graphic about the violence. A lot of people die in the book (actually it's a lot of children because they are all under 18), but there's not a lot of gruesome detail. It was depressing to think about how the people in the districts are treated and there is nothing they feel they can do about it, while the folks in the Capitol are mostly living in the lap of luxury. I think it's more disturbing for the social commentary than the actual physical violence in the book. And there were a few uplifting moments (one of which had me in tears over a loaf of bread). I put off reading it for ages, but I'm so glad a friend finally convinced me to read it.

I've read the Gardella vampire 1.5 and it was ok, but that's because I haven't read the others, probably will like it more after reading book 1.
The Vampire Queen I've read and every time a plot started it was tossed for some sort of sexual domination. The book flows well, just forgot the plot.
