You will not be disappointed. I found myself saddened that each book was ending; the length of the books didn't even register with me because I wa so fulfilled with the read.

I was taken aback by the thickness of the book too, but you know it's a great find when you don't want it to end...no matter how thick the book was. And everytime someone mention Outlander, you remember exactly what happened in every book, every detail, event, dialogues... It's truly is an epic not to be missed.

Maybe that's why I'm hesitated starting another D.Gabaldon's read. I was so lost in her world and didn't want to wake up. Nothing was getting done around me until I finished the massive read and then the Jamie withdrawal happened. See my dilema? one word, crazy...

Michelle(Chelle) aka Nightshade - Cake Whisperer (michmag) I just started The Reluctant Dom by Tymber Dalton . It's been on my TBR forever...like since December. LOL.

I learned from the high I got from reading Outlander that I had to keep at least 2 reads going at the same time. It was frightening by how consumed I was, and you know I love my gym. I couldn't get my butt to the gym for weeks if my life was depend on it. That said, I look forward to finish her series and get my hand on Lord John too....just hope my husband and kids won't miss me too much, lol.

It confused me at first but I'm on track with it now, and it is looking good. Really want to get through this series to start her fairy series.

I enjoyed the Gardella Vampire Chronicles. I really liked the ending of the series!

Yes, I will read the others for sure. In spite of not being as good as the BDB books, it still got me hooked and I finished it in two days. :)

I really liked it too! Not quite as much sexiness as I'm used to, but still good. And I think the novella Victoria Gardella Vampire Slayer (Gardella Vampire Chronicles, #1.5) by Colleen Gleason e-book is free on Amazon. At least it was a few weeks ago. :)

message 21088: by Brandy (new)

Brandy (txgirl7227) I usually always finish a series before I begin a new one, but for some reason, I got tired of the Guild Hunter series the 3rd book in... I'm going to finish it, but I needed a break. The same thing happened to me during the Mercy Thompson series, so I'm in the middle of Archangel's Consort (Guild Hunter, #3) by Nalini Singh & Silver Borne (Mercedes Thompson, #5) by Patricia Briggs , but I'm actually reading Midnight Sins (Midnight, #2) by Cynthia Eden .

P.A., To be honest I can understand not "getting into" them and I can't really put my finger on what it was that I liked so much. I think I just really like JR's writing and that was enough for me. I probably thought they were going to be 'more' connected to BDB (and maybe that's what throws a lot of ppl off) but instead I just got into the new storyline and went with it. :)

Me neither... I read Covet & thought it was ok, but no where near as good as BDB. I keep saying that I'm going to read the other two, but just can't bring myself to do it when there are other books out there that I'd rather read.

Well, I don't think her angels series will be able to be as good as her BDB series is but it is worth a shot. I liked Jim too, but the romance part was just so fast and had little development through out the story and the villain seemed far to easy to beat even if there's still more books to come out. All things considered, I liked it.

Yeah, the Fallen Angels is quite a lot different to the Brothers. It took me to book 3 Envy (The Fallen Angels, #3) by J.R. Ward to get hooked but I'm really into it now.

I'm reading Sought (Brides of the Kindred, #3) by Evangeline Anderson for my March Naughty read. Its just an easy uncomplicated read, not to be taken too seriously, but fun...
