Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) | 461 comments Yeah, I felt torn between the two brothers. I like Rydstrom's sense of duty and honor. But Cadeon is fun and has this tortured air. So I think they are evenly wonderful, just in different ways.

Believe me they only get better and better through out the series.

Erika (etiner) | 11 comments I just finished Darker After Midnight (Midnight Breed, #10) by Lara Adrian and it was fabulous!! Now I'm onto The Warlord Wants Forever (Immortals After Dark, #1) by Kresley Cole !

message 20307: by Cmkage (new)

Cmkage | 231 comments I finished The Lightning Thief (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #1) by Rick Riordan . It was very different from the movie after all and I really enjoyed it. I've definitely put the Percy Jackson boxed set on my wishlist.

I was going to continue Night Pleasures (Dark-Hunter, #1) by Sherrilyn Kenyon , but I'm 78 pages in and so far the heroine seems to have no common sense or backbone. Not to mention that she seemes to have managed to fall madly in lust with the hero about two seconds after meeting him, nevermind that she has been kidnapped and handcuffed to him or that he is dangerous and not her type at all. But apparently he's hot.

So I'm reading Kitty Goes to Washington (Kitty Norville, #2) by Carrie Vaughn for now.

I can not wait to read Darker After Midnight (Midnight Breed, #10) by Lara Adrian I am waiting on it to get here. The mail is so slow. I had it pre-ordered.
I am hoping that you have the rest of that series of Kresley Cole Because after that first book, it just keeps getting better. Kresley Cole Immortals After Dark The Clan MacRieve by Kresley Cole is the name of that series.
Happy reading*

I'm not Mitabird, but am actually reading Mortal Sins (World of the Lupi, #5) by Eileen Wilks the fifth book in the series, right now and I like it alot. It's a really intersting pnr/police procedural series that does focus on different couples as it goes along but it soooo good. Love Rule and esp Lily. She is just a strong, mentally tough heroine but very normal and not over the top like some heroines tend to be. Lots of intersting were culture and supernatural world-building, I highly recommend them :)

It's a very, very good series. Detailed in the world building and I love all of the characters. It's definitely one of my favorite series, though I felft Blood Magic (World of the Lupi, #6) by Eileen Wilks was the weakest of the series. This series is best read in order. Give it a try :)

I've put off reading this because usually when everyone raves about a book, I read it and just don't get it. I'm glad I finally decided to give it a try. If it wasn't for having to get up for work, I would have kept right on reading. I need to know what happens!

You have just started one of the best series. After you get done with this series there is a couple of books in a new series out that follows up on the Riley Jenson Guardian series and its called "Dark Angel series" Keri Arthur is a great author.

message 20346: by True Love Forever (new)

True Love Forever (trueloveforever) | 102 comments Keri Arthur is great. She never has a dull slow moment in her books. She was one of my first PNR books and authors I picked up years ago. Riley Jensen and The MacKayle Lane Fever series (Karen Marie Moning)are two of the best writen ones I have ever read. Of course I think Twilight (Stephenie Meyers) and Vampire Academy (Richelle Mead) are excellent too. They all feel like it could possibly happen to you. There are a lot of other goof fantasy stuff out there too, but these 4 seem so real along witht the magic and creatures.
Keri Arthur also has a few other gems. Two wolf novels about twin sisters and a few others. Check her out.

I will have to check those wolf novels out. I love reading about wolfs. There is another one that has a very good wolf series out that I would recommend is Kate Douglas "Wolf Tales" Oh I got so attached to this series. It is very much an adult series and even has a warning on the back about the sex scenes in it, but you will fall in love with the story and its characters. There are 12 books in that series, but there is a novella in between each book and can be found in the book called "Sexy Beast"
