If you click on the words right above the comment box that say (Some html is ok) it gives you tips. For a spoiler, you use <.spoiler>...<./spoiler>, but WITHOUT the periods. You would type the text you want to hide between the two words. Like: <.spoiler> this is what I want to hide<./spoiler>

Indeed Moning likes to end with huge cliffhangers. There are so many loose threads that I can't wait to figure out how everything plays out...so many questions and she only has one book to answer them!?
I just saw that the Ice spinoff is about Dani which is great because I really want to know more about her as well as V'lane, my favorite prince. I'm reading Dreamfever now which is fantastic, so good :)

message 19955: by Sassy Sarah Reads (new)

Sassy Sarah Reads I just finished The Duff (Designated Ugly Fat Friend) by Kody Keplinger and I loved it. I definitely recommend it, even though it's not paranormal it was a good change for me from paranormal books. Now I'm going to start Leaving Paradise (Leaving Paradise, #1) by Simone Elkeles . I love Simone Elkeles's Perfect Chemistry and Rules of Attraction, so I couldn't resist picking this book up. I'm still reading Endless Summer (The Boys Next Door & Endless Summer) by Jennifer Echols I don't ever think I'll finish it, at least not anytime soon.

message 19974: by Christine (last edited Feb 01, 2012 04:36AM) (new)

Christine | 1127 comments On Magic Bites (Kate Daniels, #1) by Ilona Andrews , in my opinion, the first book is the weakest in the series. I remember struggling through the first 50 or 60 pages and not being quite sure what was going on with these shifts between magic and tech and the different groups in the city. But once Kate meets Curran, the sparks start to fly and it really picks up. (Even the authors say the think the first book is "kind of eh".) But if you can stick with it through the first book, the series is incredible.

And I WILL get to her Edge series one of these days....

I loved Dreamfever. In July she has a graphic novel coming out with a Mac & Barrons novella Fever Moon The Fear Dorcha (Graphic Novel) by Karen Marie Moning then Dani's story will be released in October Iced (Fever World, #1) by Karen Marie Moning . I soooo can not wait! Have you read her Highlander Series? They are amazing too and have lots of crossovers between the series.

I haven't read the Highlander series yet but as soon as I'm done with Shadowfever, I'm picking that one right up. Divergent (Divergent, #1) by Veronica Roth is the one I picked. It's taking me a little while to adjust to her writing style, but I'm very intrigued by the storyline and am curious to see where she's going with this.

Samantha (crimsontyd) I am reading Zero Sum which is the 2nd book in Shier's Zero Sight series. It is technically young adult but I am enjoying it. I read the first one in one sitting and this one is taking me a million years to finish. Not sure why. It's only available as an ebook (i think). I hate that I cant help but speed through books I'm really into because I miss so much in the excitement and I'm not a re-reader...but based on the writing of Fever I bet the highlander series will be just as good if not better :)
Btw, I just saw you joined the group. Welcome! :)

message 19999: by Jenny (new)

Jenny | 114 comments I read the Highlander series first, they aren't all intermixed with the Fever series but the ones that do cross over make more sense in the Fever when you know who and what the characters are. The Highlanders series is very different from Fever as they are more romance based. I loved them they are how I got hooked on KKM as a writer.

But I should focused on what this thread is about.
I have a bunch of books lined up for February but I'm not sure which I'm going to read first but this is what I have online.
Laid Bare (Brown Siblings, #1) by Lauren Dane Fantasy Lover (Dark-Hunter, #0) by Sherrilyn Kenyon Kiss & Hell (Hell, #1) by Dakota Cassidy Shadow Kin (The Half-Light City, #1) by M.J. Scott Hell's Revenge (Princess of Hell, #3) by Eve Langlais
Now I just have to choose.

Soo (silverlyn) My reading meandered and I finished: Cathy's Book If Found Call 650-266-8233 by Jordan Weisman Cathy's Key by Jordan Weisman Cathy's Ring by Sean Stewart
and 3 Megan Hart novels. Out of the 3, I really thought Switch was beautiful.

The Cathy Trilogy is a hoot! Book 3 is amazing! Anything I griped about in book 2 was totally put to rest in book 3. I really enjoyed reading that trilogy and I hope more interactive novels are written.

Need to Wrap Up: Flame Within (Bonded Fantasy, #7) by Mima Magic Bites (Kate Daniels, #1) by Ilona Andrews 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami
