LOVE this series. Although this book was probably my least favorite (even though I nearly cried at the end which is stupid 'cause you know it's going to have a happy ending!). I'll be curious to see what you think of it.

I really liked the first one except one part of it and went on to read 2 & 3 but lost interest as Jaime was getting on my nerves more and more and Claire seemed ok with it all...I will eventually get back to it though...I just decided to take a break.

Aimie (aim4theneck) | 98 comments I just finished Undead and Unwed (Undead, #1) by MaryJanice Davidson which was so funny, I lost count of the times I laughed out loud. By the time I'd finished it my husband was ready to send me to the looney bin.
Not sure what I'm going to read next. Possibly The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (Millennium, #1) by Stieg Larsson

I am in the middle of this and really enjoying it. It is kinda different from the usual stuff like this. My heart broke when he started screaming her name after she left. I could see that scene played out on the big screen or tv. Very powerful. Can you imagine something like these two actually happening.....sigh......it is beautiful to think about!

I was a mess during that scene. I really enjoyed this book. Nathan was so sweet and when he meets Shea for the first time, it is just so incredible. I told you I cried for the first 30 percent. Love Soldiers.

Fifty Shades Freed (Fifty Shades, #3) by E.L. James - Expected publication date says Jan 19 so not too much longer :0)

I'm reading Inescapable (The Premonition #1) by Amy A. Bartol & Intuition (The Premonition #2) by Amy A. Bartol right now. Love the series so far. I have to then catch up on Immortals After Dark because Lothaire just came out and I want to know what the fuss is all about. I think I'm on book #9, lol.

Haha! It is going to get worse! Wait until you get to
Book 3, Zsadist's book. It is still the best in the series

message 19224: by Christine (new)

Christine | 1127 comments I finished The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern and just adored it. It wasn't really what I was expecting from the description. It's more a book of imagery and texture and mood than action and adventure and romance. Although I was on the edge of my seat near the end waiting to see what would become of these characters and their circus. Best read all year. Oh, wait, it's also only my third read all year so make of that what you will.

Hi PA! Wow, now I'm really excited to go home and finish the book! I am already sad because I have book 5 on deck, but after that I'm all caught up and have to wait for august like everyone else :-(

LOL. Hopefully if I stay on track I;m aiming for March.

Seriously though, I almost threw my reader when I finished Book 4, and what would have been worse is if you had to wait for book 5 like the rest of us. That was pure hell.

Zsadist was my favorite for sure. The one I actually disliked was Phury's story, and I was also disappointed in Payne. She had the potential to be the first tough warrior who was female, and then she ended up whining the whole book and even contemplated suicide. I hated that. I expected way more from her character.

I love them together, and I love how the relationship grows and doesn't wrap up neatly in one book. It's nicet to see the progression. You'll have to let me know what you think when you finish the book.

We are on the same page. I love the bad-ass heroines who can take care of themselves. YOu nailed it with Brianna in Bound by Blood. That is also why I love Merit. Whining is not my idea of a fun.

That's why Merit is one of my favorites too. If you like that kind of heroine you should read Cyn in Raphael (Vampires in America, #1) by D.B. Reynolds she's a fantastic heroine. Not physically stronger, but smarter and strong willed.
