Yes, I did. And in fact, I liked it better than Twilight. Or perhaps, I liked it so well because it really filled out Twilight. What about you, did you read it?
I finished Fantasy Lover by Kenyon. It waw okay. I can't say that I loved it, but I'll probably read on in the series at some point. I also read to short stories in ebook format, both by Jet Mykles, Tech Support and Snagged. Both were really good.
Rush of Wings is probably next up, although I find myself less than excited about it. Not sure why. I'll probably end up loving it.

And I do hope you like A Rush of Wings! Good luck!

Yeah, I read it too , and I completely agree with you, plus, even though I LOVE the series, Bella annoyed me just a little as a character, I thought it was fantabulous, and made me love Edward so much more

That's exactly it for me... It made me adore Edward all the much more because we really get to see a glimpse of what's going on in his head!

Considering how much i love this character, the first part of this book is very hard to read at times. But, still beautifully written.

I sobbed. And Sobbed.

I've read lots of books where I start to tear up, but this was heart-wrenching! My daughter put off reading it for months and months because of how it got to me. The second part is less traumatic, but man oh man...I went through tissues like crazy! You're not alone!

I think the stories DO get better. I loved Dark Lover, but it's not nearly as intense, nor did I feel the connection to Wrath and Beth as strongly as I do to the other Brother's and their shellans. Like I said, I really liked Dark Lover, but I do believe the stories get better. The plot thickens, the bonds between the Brothers strengthens... there so much more to it all.

You're welcome! I just started Pleasure Unbound and the first few pages had me wondering if I could keep reading. Too many characters introduced in too short a period of time for my slow brain...but I stuck it out and it's already better!
I felt the same way about Dark Lover. I feel like that was more like a stand alone story, with less of the interweaving story that you get with the other books. I felt like each book became my new favorite as I read them, with the exception of Phury's book, which maybe not a favorite. But, definately the books get better after Dark Lover.

Well, i've made it to Part 2 of Acheron. I'm telling you...i have never felt more emotionally exhausted by a book before.
As for Dark Lover...
I've only read the first 4 BDB books so far, but DL is actually my favorite. Something about Wrath just completely captivated me. But, i seem to be in the minority in feeling that way. Most everyone i know prefer the later books.
Oh I love Nalini Singh! I cannot wait til her next book comes out.

I haven't yet gotten to read her, but I am looking forward to it.

I recently finished Acheron and understand what you're saying about Part 1... emotionally draining, but worth it....
as for the BDB, I liked Wrath .....I just keep trying to picture a man that size and am having a hard time fathoming it!
I'm halfway through Minion and I'm really enjoying it. It reminds me a little of Buffy, but there's a lot going on in the story...I know its gotten some not-so-good reviews, but I originally bought it cause the 12th book in the series caught my eye in Barnes&Noble and I knew I couldn't just start reading a series in that sort of order... it's sort of an OCD thing Ive got going on regarding book series and reading orders

I really do need to get around to reading L A banks books.
VIN DEISEL!! WOOHOO!!!
VIN DEISEL!! WOOHOO!!!

I always find it amazing that I can get so wrapped up in a story! But yes, Acheron was emotionally draining, but worth it.

What about the Rock?
and those guys from the movie 300 alot of built guys in that movie!! LOL

YES!!!!....omg...I swear that movie was made for women....I'll never forget the first time I saw it....lol

Uh, Stav...I haven't seen 300 yet. And I consider you a horrible friend for not explaining to me that it was a hot man buffet.
See if I christos anesti you next week. Ha! I abjure thee, wench!
And I'm not recommending any more books to you either. Shoulda' kept Valerius all to myself...

YOU STILL HAVEN'T SEEN IT?!
for shame..... had I known I would have insisted you see it....Gerard Butler is so hot, and in that movie...::wiping up drool just thinking about it::
I do think my sister bought it so it's got to be here somewhere... :)
maybe I'll tear myself away from BSG tonight to watch it.
