What are you reading right now?

Pansy, Is Larissa Ione's new series just as good as her Demonica series?
I finished #1 of the Demonica series last weekend and can't wait to read more!

Me too! I've read an excerpt and it was like Ugh! I got frustrated coz it was starting to get good... I want it now :))

I know I cant wait to read the next one to. Ione is the best

I'm currently reading a paperback & it feels weird. Tried reading in bed & it's uncomfortable having to hold it up/keep the pages separated.

I hear you, I feel the same when I try to read paperbacks now

Ditto. Oh, and the whole bookmark deal. I have these monkeys, I mean, kids, who likes to look at the books I'm reading and pull out bookmarks. I hate ear-marking pages because with having kids, sometimes you get interrupted a lot and that's a lot of bent pages! With the kindle, I can just turn it off and not worry about losing my spot! I doubt my kids even know where the on/off switch is. They know to leave mommy's kindle alone :0) And big/long books are easy on the wrists with long readings.

And that's a problem because....?
Isn't that why we l..."

However, I am kind of enjoying reliving some of my childhood through all the 80s references in

Wait til you get to the end, there is a good surprise.

I've never read Colters Legacy, how is it? I like Maya Banks. I love the Blacktop Cowboy series too.

You will love this series Merit is kick ass and Ethan is so yummy!

I like it so far, but I'm only a little into it. It's my first Maya Banks. I couldn't get the Rough Riders series out of my head so I decided to pick up more by Lorelei James :)

I understand, Lorelei James is one of my favorite authors.

Hi Wanda, I read Spider's Bite last year sometime and it really didn't leave an impression with me one way or another. I can't say I was inspired to continue the series, but that's just one person's opinion.

I started

Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to finish the book, but I'm not sure that I'll continue the series at this point. I'll have to see what I think by the end. I have too many other books and series that are calling for my attention.

Try Nicky Charles -- books are available for free on smashwords. They're awesome and were definitely high on my favorite list! I've also read the first book of the Rachel Vincent shifter series and plan to get the others.

I am reading the Vampires in America series by D.B. Reynolds right now and it is really good. Also, I normally only read paranormal but the best book I've read this year is

Two words: Nalini Singh.
She's got two series that are my absolute favorite PNR series.
First books are:

I loved Angel's Blood. I haven't tried the other series yet but I want to.

Vampires in America by D.B. Reynolds, Scanguard Vampires from Tina Folsom, Sentinel Wars by Shannon K Butcher & Elder Series by Thea Harrison to name a few.

Definitely Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter series. I still need to read the Psy-Changling series.

You're welcome! That's just it, there's so many other wonderful books in the world... sometimes spending time on the blah ones just isn't worth it.

Thanks Christine. It is definitely high up on my TBR list. I'm just trying to finish up some series before I start another one.

Yippee P.A. Rajmund is hotttttt!"
Can't wait. Right now I'm also starting

I've been holding off because I think it might be a December group read in one of my groups.

Loved the Hunger Games P.A. I got everyone in my office hooked on it. My 14 year-old read them all in like 5 days. He liked them a lot too.

That's right - I might be reading this in December too.

I hear ya! I keep telling myself that next month I'm only allowed to read books in series I've already started. You know, every time I say that I get this weird sense of deja vu....

Good. I'm hoping it will spark an interest in reading for my 11 year old. My 8 year old loves reading. He's actually almost as bad as me and finishes a book almost every day.

I know where you're coming from. I promise myself everyday I'll cut back on reading time and GR time LOL It never happens, I'm as addicted to reading as I am to GR.

P.A. have you tried Percy Jackson & the Olympians. My 14 year read those whn he was 11-12. I think he read most of the books 2-3 times.

No I haven't. He wasn't too into that movie for some reason, I would have thought he'd like it was just okay for him. That's what held me back from the books, but maybe I should try it. Books are always better than movies.
