Thanks Christine, I thought of reading In Bed In Bed with a Highlander (McCabe Trilogy, #1) by Maya Banks too but my library has book 1 & 3, book 2 is not even ordered, weird. I'm thinking of waiting until they all the books.

BTW, my daughter just bought Nook Color and my cousin bought Kindle Fire. I'm old school with the actual book format...but they are pretty cool and popping up everywhere. Since I read books and listen to audiobooks mostly, and I liked how words seemed to be printed on the screen of the Kindle 3G with the keyboard ($139) instead of shining on my face. Should I put that on my Xmas list?

Sheri I just read Alpha and Omega, the short story in On the Prowl (includes Alpha & Omega #0.5 World of the Lupi #3.5 Monère #4 Dorina Basarab #1.1) by Patricia Briggs , in anticipation of starting Cry Wolf soon. I thought it was going to be a whole new series, so I was very pleasantly surprised to find out that it was a spin off of the Mercy Thompson series, which I LOVE! I love that I already knew all about the wolf pack dynamics and got to see a little about what was behind Charles. I always wondered about him in the MT books.

Samantha Mullins (hixxup79) finished reading White Witch, Black Curse (The Hollows, #7) by Kim Harrison and it was a great book, sad, and got some closure. I couldn't quite get Rachel and the crew out of my head once I finished so I started reading Black Magic Sanction (The Hollows, #8) by Kim Harrison and got about 155 pages in before I crashed this morning.

I like to take breaks when I'm reading a series so I don't get tired of the writing style. I personally love Night Huntress more than BDB series(though it's a very close 2nd).

I love the idea behind those books. At first I picked them up without reading the blurb in the back. I thought from the picture of the cover it was going to be another shifter story. It was a nice surprise.

Didn't you wonder when you were reading Jabril what they are referring to and why they didn't explain alot of things? No wonder you didn't care for it. Jabril is only part two of the story.

I just love this series...I know I am a broken record. I love her writing style I think it is up there with alot of the big guns and I really love the world that Raphael is building and ruling in.

The author has committed to 8 books in this series and says that she will write more if her fans want them. I think she is writing some novellas too that are planned.

In book one I love that scene where (view spoiler) and Raphael comes busting in to find her. And of course the warehouse scene.

Gotta love those Vampire Dreams!

I laugh now...I remember thinking that I was really confused and thought it was one of those stories that would explain things later. I tried to be patient but then I finally just gave up.
