Yes, I saw that. Snippets are very, very short. Wonder if you would be able to see her page without a FB account.

I'll be looking for your review. I read a short story by the author yesterday & it encouraged me to add this book to my TBR.

It's addictive."
Until your next book comes out!! Any date yet??

This is a great series!
Rhage & Mary are really cute together!
Enjoy your book Jennifer!

I am with you there, Christine. The last three have been so-so. Too bad because I really loved the first ones.

I liked the movie too. One of the few books-into-movies that I do like. I really liked the book, but it was a little slow at times for me.

My next reads are the continuations of the Scanguards Vampire series :0)

I agree with you christine that the first three books were awesome. I haven't enjoyed the last couple as much either. I think with Cat and Bones now together it loses some of the sparks between them. Also there is no underlying story arc which continues progressing with each book. Apparently the series will end with Book 9, so three more to go, I hope JF can inject some of the magic back into this series and have an awesome ending.

I hope you end up loving that series as much as I do. That series tops every other for me.

I know this is a terribly unpopular thing to say...but, I was not "thrilled" with this series. It was okay and I think book 2 and the one about Mencheres are the best of the whole lot.
I have yet to read the last two that came out yet. Different strokes....

Everyone has different tastes. I've tried to figure out why I love it so much and maybe because it reminded me so much of Buffy. I used to love that show and Spike was one of my favorite characters. Bones reminded me so much of Spike.

Really? It's even better than BDB (which is my personal favorite)??

I never watched that tv show...when it was on I worked second shift and was in college full time during the day....i missed it.
I think this place would be boring without our different likes and dislikes. I am glad for one that we have the variety of opinions in here.

Really? It's even better than BDB (which is my personal favorite)??"
I think they are about the same Jolyn....They are both top of the line in PRN...

Exactly. I'm getting so tired of hearing Cat go on and on about how hot and gorgeous and sexy her husband and how she's so lucky to have him. And she just can't wait to jump his bones. (No pun intended, but I wish I had thought of that on purpose.) Okay, I get it already. Could we please get on with the story?

I personally like it better than BDB which is my second down on the list. The reason I think is because its told in the first person POV which is my favorite(I like the hero to be mysterious and to have to guess at what he's thinking. I also feel more drawn into the heroine.) Also, I like stories with kick-butt heroines and although the heroines in BDB are good--they don't fight and kick butt. I also like romance and it's hard to find a good romance told in the first person with a kick butt heroine--they're usually Urban Fantasy with not a lot of romance. This book had it all for me. And they get better and better.

I'll have to see if I'm on board with you on this one or not. I know what you mean about not having a popular opinion though. I started reading Darkfever awhile back and I had the hardest time getting into it. Mine was NOT the popular opinion on that one. I decided to try it again when I have more patience since it came soooo highly recommended. (I'm usually not that picky with books. I don't know what's going on with me!) *checking for temp* ;)

Well, you've definitely got me stoked to dive into it! Funny enough (speaking of Buffy)...before I can read, I'll need to drag myself away from the Angel reruns I'm watching on Netflix at the moment. Haha!

Jolyn...the Fever series can be hard to get into...you have to keep pushing....it get's better each book in.

I'm kind of with you on the Night Huntress. I really liked the first three books, but was really disappointed in the last three. And I have a friend who has sworn off the whole series because she was so disappointed in the most recent one. But that's the joy of reading we each have a chance to find what works for us and can leave the rest behind.

I didn't get the hype about the Fever books at first either. In fact, if it wasn't for Katya I wouldn't have continued. It's not that I didn't like it, it's just I didn't think it was great(there were so many others I wanted to read). I just finished Shadowfever last night and now I get why people love it--the last one wowed me.

My favorite is the end of Book two of the Night Huntress Series...when Ian thinks he has Cat cornered with her dad and bones.....LOVE IT! Is anything better?

I LOVE Buffy and Angel. My husband used to make fun of me--he said I was the only adult who enjoyed the show. He's since discovered how wrong he was.

I love how much I love Ian now. He was a villain. How can I like him?

I loved Ian from day one...he is that big loser who is adorable and you love to love....he has potential and is so funny! It is hard to stay mad at someone like that and he jazzes up the books.

Definitely.

LOL My husband says he sleeps with one eye open because of my love of Buffy and Angel. I've seen all these episodes about a bazillion times, and I never get sick of them.

I compare those two as well. I think I fell in love with Bones the minute he beat the crap out of Cat in that cave. He treated her as an equal and taught her. I loved that. Probably not the most politically correct thing to say--but oh well, it's how I felt. LOL

I absolutely love this series P.A. I still watch it on DVD. Angel too.
I loved Spike he just made the show.
