Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 368 comments I set Angelology by Danielle Trussoni to the side. The story was starting to pick up but then there was this horrible part of what they did to some children that really bothered me. So I started Embraced by Blood (Sweetblood, #2) by Laurie London .

This series rocks! It's one of my favorites. :) It's funny because the first time I read book one, I didn't get past the first chapter. Then some guys over on a forum I frequent convinced me to pick it up again and I'm soooo glad I did.

message 17455: by Sheree (new)

Sheree I think I will be going to bed early & tonight as very tired & I want to read some more before I sleep, make sure you read the 4th then read First Drop of Crimson (Night Huntress World, #1) by Jeaniene Frost & then Eternal Kiss of Darkness (Night Huntress World, #2) by Jeaniene Frost & then go onto the fifth, there's some stuff you wont understand without reading these before the 5th, I have all of these by my bed waiting to be read, I am a VERY slow reader

I think you'll like First Drop of Crimson. Spade is very romantic. :) I love the NH spin-offs and oddly enough, I love Mencheres' book the most. I didn't think I would but it's my favorite. I'm still waiting for my Ian book though! :D

I don't know how you can read two at the same time. I couldn't do it. I love the Argeneau books, the first one isn't the best but they get really good after that and there is such a good concept about vampires. Unique.

Delaney Reimers (delaneyakafrog) | 347 comments Ok so I was suppose to be reading Passion (Fallen, #3) by Lauren Kate but decided I wanted a good erotica and picked up Nicholas (The Lords of Satyr, #1) by Elizabeth Amber , just finished. Wasn't to bad, had a great storyline of a PNR but didn't really feel to much like an erotica for me so now I'm gonna read Wicked Ties (Wicked Lovers, #1) by Shayla Black and then get back to Passion for my monthly challenge read.

Try some of the audios if you can. They are the best. I am on book five and I have only read one book because the audio version is addicting. I just borrow them from the library.
Susan Erikson is the best narrator. Crazy4More got me addicted so I agree with her totally about the audio.

I think like most series the first book you can never judge the series on, I think because its building the world on which you are reading, I felt the same when I read this first one but all I can say is this series I loved it!! Don't give up!!!!

I just may have to check out the audiobooks. I'm having a hard time "hearing" Roarke's accent. I'll pick it up for a few sentences, and then he's back to a bland American accent, which I really don't think does him justice.

if you type Jeaniene Frost into the search engine on this site it'll list all of the night huntress books & the novellas that go inbetween. If you have an Ereader, nook or kindle you can download the novellas for roughly $2-$4 I don't have any so have ordered all the books. I think it was bookworm who sent me the link to Jeaniene Frost's website, I will try to copy & paste it on here so you can check it out, I'm new to adding links so I hope it works for you, was awesome for me so I knew which books to buy :-D http://jeanienefrost.com/other-works/
