Next Archangel's Blade (Guild Hunter, #4) by Nalini Singh , yipee! though I'm thinking of squeezing a quick read On the Hunt (Includes Sentinel Wars #3.5, Final Prophecy #5.5, Gods of Midnight, #4.5) by Gena Showalter from Gena Showalter while I'm enjoying my LOTU's afterglow.

nah I didn't, I haven't read that series yet, I will get to it but it has been suggested I read the Highlander series before I start the Fever series, it is on my TBR list & will no doubt take me forever before I get to it. I had coffee today with a good friend who'd finally gotten around to reading it lol she loved it & read it in one sitting. This is my favourite series from her. I didn't think last night but did I suggest the Morganville Vampires to you? It's also by Rachel Caine & not huge on sex scenes, maybe one I think I read

I tell everyone to read Working Stiff by Rachel Caine, I loved it, it was very different & every time I thought I knew where it was headed, it went in a totally different direction. I caught up with a friend today who read & finished it last night. I had been hounding her to read it for months lol now she think's I should tell her all the books I love. Also a MUST read is Night Huntress series. I only found this series after I started using the discussion boards & the ladies on there helped me & got me to read it. I can't stop loving & thanking all that told me to read it, I am highly addicted to it now it

Don't you love the afterglow? It's addictive. I knew you would love The Darkest Surrender (Lords of the Underworld, #8) by Gena Showalter . Strider is just adorable. Did you love the side stories. Kane, William and Paris....Kane is going to interesting. He is like Strider. I did not know too much about him. I look forward to learning more, but it is William and Paris that has me tied up in knots. I am anxious for their books.

One of my FAV series with highlanders and Normans and the like. I'm so sad that it only has 3.5 books so far, but at least she has plans to continue them. She's just writing so many different series, the Enemy Lover (L.O.S.T #1) by Karin Harlow plus Blood Law (Blood Moon Trilogy, #1) by Karin Tabke being the most popular right now. I recommended this series to C4More a while back, it's a goodie!

Kelsey, I've been meaning to get Demon Slave (Shadow Quest #2) by Kiersten Fay ! I liked the first one as well. Let me know what you think once you get further!

Darn...I'm done with Indulgence in Death (In Death, #31) by J.D. Robb . Can't locate the short-story audiobook for The Other Side by J.D. Robb . Guess I have to read this one. For my next audiobook, I just picked up Key of Light (Key trilogy, #1) by Nora Roberts bc of Susan Ericksen & Nora Roberts. This is my first NR's read.

So many books...

Crazy's here with a big THANKS for the rec's. I've read LOST & Blood Moon series, loved them and now waiting patiently for their next books. I've found her writing edgy, precise and raw. Haven't gotten my hands on Blood Sword yet but I'm sure I'll love it. Hmmmm...bad-ass knights, yikes...

I am about a third of the way through. I hate the cover...that girl Emma is so much better looking in my mind than on that picture...but then I hate all the girls on Vamps in AM covers. They don't look like the real thing.

You get a small dose of Cyn & Raphael in the beginning where (view spoiler) It was sweet.

Right off the bat, what is different about this book is that the heroine (view spoiler)

Also, (no secret) Duncan has a more modern attitude than Raphael...but then that dude is from the middle ages.....And Duncan is from the early 1800's or something. We also learn that (view spoiler)

I am also liking Miguel....his Lieutenant. He growls at people and doesn't know his own strength with humans....Duncan keeps telling him...."gentle, easy Miguel, gentle."

So far I am enjoying this book...I love all the talk of the vampire power.....Duncan walks into a blood house at one point and as soon as he releases his power they recognize him as their Lord and some bow down others back up against the walls bowing their heads. It is awesome. Duncan is freeken' cocky too! I love it!

I absolutely loved Dmitri's book. He is so cold and calculating and vicious, but you really get to see in this book that it's all an act he has to put on to protect Raphael and all those in their territory that they feel obligated to protect. And I do get what you mean. I couldn't put the book down when I read it, but then was sad it was over so quickly.
