I just want to say I love the Morganville Vampires series, too. They are one of the YA sets I can't stop reading even though I am really liking adult romance right now. I am reading Lord of Misrule (Morganville Vampires, #5) by Rachel Caine and then Carpe Corpus (The Morganville Vampires, #6) by Rachel Caine for the Nov. challenge. Hoping to start them in about a week.

First I have to finish up Slave to Sensation (Psy-Changeling, #1) by Nalini Singh have about 20 more pages. I thought it was a very good book and I didn't even realize it was a series at first. Also reading The Chosen Sin by Anya Bast Just started it so not sure about it yet. Hoping its good.

Yes and it comes out in May 2012... another that I will have to order and wait for. I sure wished that the book store here got in more books by other authors. What we have here is very minimal. Oh well

Ah May. Something to look forward to. Maybe waiting on it will help get me through another long snowy winter. Have you thought of getting an ereader? I live a long ways from a library and bookstore and so I'm loving my Kindle. Instant gratification can sometimes be a very lovely thing. :-)

It is on my wish list. But I do like the feeling of having the book in my hands and the feel of the paper. Some books have very soft and smooth pages.

I loved Slave to Sensation (Psy-Changeling, #1) by Nalini Singh Psy/changling series is one of my most favorite series and I adored Lucas and Sasha as a couple. Its really fun to keep seeing them pop up in the rest of the series

message 17011: by Delaney (new)

Delaney Reimers (delaneyakafrog) | 347 comments I loved it. Just finished it a few minutes ago. They do make a great couple. I'm glad you mentioned that they are in the others cause I started to read the insert for the next book and didn't see them in it. I was kinda worried they weren't. I am definitely going to order the next one then. Have you read any of her other 3 series? Was wondering if they were any good.

I started it last night, only got two chapters in as had work this morning. I am liking it but now that I've read Night Huntress nothing else seems important or as adult as I have now become to love. I hate loving that series & having to settle with another book until the others arrive at my door. I am shocking!! totally addicted! I do love Morganville & only came across them via a ya reader who has a fan page on fb for VA, lol I used to ask his opinion for good books to read but he's very YA. Another on the fan page suggested I read it & once I read the first I couldn't stop. I had been looking forward to Last Breath but it's kind of whiney & teenage stuff. I wont stop reading it though, like I said I'm only 2chapters in. Tonight I get to catch up with Mernin so that's cool. It just sux that I know I could be spending this reading time reading NH instead. You should checkout Rachel Caine's Revivalist series (I think I already told you about it) I loved it, I couldn't put it down. OMG I am sulking something bad about NH :( I have to give the kid credit though (the one running the "I Wish I went to St Valdimer's Academy" fan page) he told everyone to check him out on GR & if I hadn't I'd have never gotten you guy's to show me the other adult PN that I never knew about. I wont be happy again until I get my books

The Carpus Corps (I know I got that wrong) is not as steong or as good as the others, I thik it was that one, I could have them mixed up. I'm 32 & I love them all & I know she's signed up for book 12 & 13. If you get the chance try reading her new Revivalist series, the first book is called "Working Stiff" It's adult based & I loved it. I was totally thrown with every theory I came up with so it kept me guessing & I was never bored with it

Up next will be either You Suck (A Love Story. #2) by Christopher Moore or possibly Beyond the Highland Mist (Highlander, #1) by Karen Marie Moning

I am so jealous, I had no time to download it before I went out so I started another book first. Drink Deep didn't go onto my reader so I started Dreamfever (Fever, #4) by Karen Marie Moning I put it aside for so long I forgot how much I wanted to read this one. don't stress, I can read like a snail, it takes me ages but generally because I like to read at night before going to sleep, it's just not right to read vampire books during the day. I think it was that one, I'm not sure but the "Bishop" one was kind of boring but I still read it & the rest. Last Breath started getting interesting last night so I'm looking forward to bedtime.
