I live right on the boarder in WI. But I'll be moving away =( The river and bluffs are gorgeous, but the winters are definitely worse on that side of the state.

Ellen (ellebelle01) | 47 comments I just finished Elemental The First by Alexandra May and am super excited to start the second one in the series. Since it's not out until 1/15, I'm kind of at a loss as to what to read next. I have so may TBR, I'm not sure what series I want to start next. I may read the next book in the October Daye series, but am not 100% sold on starting that one yet...

I'm anxious to read The Finding (Law of the Lycans, #3) by Nicky Charles . However, I have decided to read Dead Is the New Black (Dead Is, #1) by Marlene Perez .
I needed to pick up something that I think may be a little lighter. Must let my family believe that I care to listen to them rather than reading for a while. Just kidding, they've been pretty neglected during the past three books because I couldn't drag myself away from them!

Hi PA, I definitely agree with Amy. The first two books in the Fallen Angels are definitely just average reads but you need to read them for the setup. I was hooked by Envy, though, it all just seemed to fall into place and I think the rest of the series will be rivetting. If you can't get into it after reading Envy, I would give it up however, there are just too many good books out there to slog through it! Reading PNR/UF should be addictive and FUN.

I only just started, Im taking it slow but so far i like it. A lot of Goodreads members say that Envy was the best book so far. And your right, Covet was not as good as Ms Ward's other books. Anyway, Im a huge fan of JR Ward and Im gonna read whatever it is that she writes :))

I agree completely. I barely have enough time to get through the books in my TBR pile as it is. Not to mention writing too. It's hard to keep trying to like a book I'm just not that into.

message 16419: by Boo Boo Kitty (new)

Boo Boo Kitty I read the first book Covet and it was ok. I love the BDB books so much and I was excepting more. I haven't read any of the other books in the series. Maybe after I get through the rest of my tbr, I will get to the others.

Boo Boo Kitty I had my nook with me last night at work and my friend/co worker wanted an idea of what I thought a "steamy" scene was in a book. So I broke out good ol' chapter 32. Her comment was " This certainly isn't Twilight." I replied "it's better." Bones is just muy caliente!

Excellent read! I just read this and The Keeping (Law of the Lycans, #2) by Nicky Charles in the last week. I wish I wouldn't have waited so long to read them. Will be downloading The Finding (Law of the Lycans, #3) by Nicky Charles as soon as I'm done with the books I'm reading now.

I read the Riley Jensen series years ago. I know additional books have come out since. Problem is, I have no idea where I left off. Oh well, guess that means I'll just have to enjoy them a second time now that I have goodreads to help me keep track!

I've read all 3 Fallen Angels bks and they're ok - 3 stars. But NO FREAKING WAY can they compete with the Brothers. Nice tie in bk 3 with Vec and Love Unleashed. I like to think of the Brothers lurking around in Caldie while reading the Fallen Angels series.

Michelle(Chelle) aka Nightshade - Cake Whisperer (michmag) I finished reading Storm's Heart (Elder Races, #2) by Thea Harrison which I thought was very good. I am starting Serpent's Kiss (Elder Races, #3) by Thea Harrison next. Definitely continue. The second one has more twists to the plot. You definitely have to read it all the way to the end. After that ending, I'm anxious to read the third. I'm trying to wait until after my birthday so that I can see if my kids have taken the hint about an ereader! I think that'd be easier than printing the book in PDF!
