Ellen (ellebelle01) | 47 comments I'm reading Portal and am having a hard time deciding if I like it or not. I was going to quit reading it, but it's for my October challenge and so I'm trying to finish it out. I'm just not sure I'm liking this one...

Michelle(Chelle) aka Nightshade - Cake Whisperer (michmag) I finished reading Jabril (Vampires in America, #2) by D.B. Reynolds . I love this series and Raphael & Cyn are an incredible couple.

I am almost done reading Archangel's Blade (Guild Hunter, #4) by Nalini Singh . I love Dmitri. I always thought he was hot in Raphael & Elena's stories but he is even better in his own book.

Juni, it all depends on what you are in the mood for. Bloodlines is really YA and is good but suffers first book syndrome a bit. You know setting up the story for the series. It does have a lot of characters we know and love from VA so that's a plus. Envy is really good (and definitely adult), the series was a bit slow at first for me, but this book is where it all picks up. I think its going to be a great series by the end. Hope this helps.

I didn't love the series when I first started it either. I still don't love it, but I really like it now. It has a good plot to it, but its a little to predictable for me. I love Richelle Meads Vampire Academy series though! So if you haven't read that I highly recommend it!

Ellen | 28 comments Amy, I loved Bound by Blood too.
Did you know you can read Kindle books on your computer or laptop. Thats how i read most of my books. When you purchase an ebook at B&N or Amazon it will install an ap that will let you store all your Kindle books on the computer. I love it. Having it will also give you access to tons of books for 99 cents and $2.99. Amazon even puts on specials and free reads that you can download. I just got The Abandoned (Graveyard Queen #0.5) by Amanda Stevens for free.
