I have started and stopped Hunter's book so many times. I usually finish a Breed book the day I get it but just can't get into this one as much as the others.

I have this on hand from the library, but I have several Night Huntress books lined up first

Hotness, no... but the humor- Oberon is so funny! I really enjoyed it, but it's definitely not one to read if you are looking for romance. Think Bromance UF- no guy on guy type stuff, just "manly" UF... action, humor, a little nooky...

I love the Midnight Breed. I just finished Kade's book and it is definitely one of my favorites. I'm so glad because I was very disappointed in Andreas's story. Brock is up for me next and then Hunter. I can't wait.

That's too bad! I loved the Iron Druid Chronicles. The first book didn't quite live up to all the hype for me, but I fell in love with Hexed and Hammered. I love the interaction between Atticus and his Irish wolfhound Oberon. I get tired of the romances after a while and need to read a good UF that skips the romance.

I read about this book from goodreads and was able to purchase the ebook for 99cents at kobo. Can't wait for Garner Witch 2. Haven't decided on what to read next.

A lot of people did not give the first Midnight Breeds book two thumbs up, maybe one thumb up and the other down. I loved every book and it got better. There is a lot of passion and hot vampires but lots of suspense. Crazy4More is another big fan.

Vanessa (aurorapixi) | 187 comments I finished Let Me In by John Ajvide Lindqvist it's a vampire horror story and the author is compared to Stephen King. I wouldn't call this book horror, more like disturbing. I've never read Stephen King so I can't say if the likeness is true or not. I gave it 2 stars. It's translated from Swedish and I sometimes wondered what got lost in translation. Now I am reading Lord of the Fading Lands (Tairen Soul, #1) by C.L. Wilson based on recommends from you guys. I have only started the first page but my aunt is almost done with book 2 and really seems to like them quite a bit. I'm still trying to get her on Goodreads =)

Finished Promises in Death (In Death, #28) by J.D. Robb . I have to seriously rethink giving out too many 5 stars to this series...seriously...but when one of their own went down, I was done for from the very first page. And continue onto audiobook Kindred in Death (In Death, #29) by J.D. Robb

ungh...I feel kind of bad for you right now. I hate reading any book I didn't choose out of interest. I don't mind non-fiction and educational books as long as I can choose the ones that interest me. You should reward yourself every few chapters with one chapter of one of your favorite books.

I am listening to Ceremony in Death. I love it. It is the one with the witchcraft and Wiccan. I so love Roarke. I have started In Bed with a Highlander (McCabe Trilogy, #1) by Maya Banks . So far it is really good. Action right at the beginning. I love that. I will get back to Serpent's Kiss later. I cannot get into what the story is. I am giving it 2.5 stars on the first 50%. P.A. Lupton (palupton) | 909 comments Sammie, It works for me. I've taken a few classes with boring reading material and it worked for me. It was as if knowing I got the reward helped me get through the book.
I've got lots of tricks. I once took an ancient history class, which was really interesting, but I had a hard time getting through the book because the names of the people were all unpronounceabe and long. I kept getting pulled out of the book and I had a hard time keeping the names straight. Finally, I listed all the names in the book, gave each an easy name like Lisa or Sam and then scratched out all the names and replaced them with the ones I chose. I zoomed through the book and when it came time for the exam all I had to do was memorize my name chart and change out the names I picked with their real names...worked like a charm, I got an A+. LOL
