I felt the same way. If it weren't for the September challenges I might have waited a day or so before starting another book. Just so I could savor Dragon Bound.

Im halfway through and it has been a fun read, very entertaining."

Love the Darkest Powers Trilogy! Hope you enjoy the other two books :)

Book 2 was my favorite, or maybe 4--I think they're tied. Anyway, you'll love it.

This series centers on the children of couples from her adult series. I don't read much YA, but I enjoyed the Dragonfire series, so I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the book.

Need to purchase the next now, Total Eclipse. Glad payday is tomorrow :-)
Love this series

It's making me read long, which I can't do because I have school. SUCKS.

I've been really wanting to read that one, but there's something about it that keeps putting me off.

I'd say give it a try. It seemed pretty obvious to me what was going on, so it was a matter of waiting for the kids to figure it out, too. But it was a quick, enjoyable read, and I will probably check out the next one when it comes out in December. It would probably help if you've already read her adult series so you're familiar with the history of some of the characters. Personally, I found it far less annoying and even more realistic than (dare I say it?) Twilight. But then, that's just my opinion.

It doesn't take much to beat Twilight--in my book. I've thought about reading her adult series and actually just got my hands on some free ebook editions a while back.
I've noticed with YA that normally you're way a head of the kids, and waiting for them to catch up with the plot! It kind of get exasperating at times.

Magic strikes is where it finally gets good!! Enjoy!

I'm trying to like it, too. I'm about 25% in & even though the main character is a junkie/prostitute it reminds me of a YA.
