What are you reading right now?

Perhaps to differentiate between genres.

Jessica - I'm in the same boat as you. Everywhere I go it's Roarke this, Roarke that! I haven't read this yet because there are like 400 books in the series, but even people who have read the whole thing still love it. It doesn't seem to lose its luster like other similarly long series (Anita Blake)

Never heard of this - love new recommendations

I have given up on that series after

I would say yes to that but they are both paranormal

You know I added this to my TBR. I have never read an erotic HR. Should be interesting?

How distracted was I? 6 miles on elliptical and 3.5 mile on bike and some toning...yup, had my book in hands so I did only leg toning, priority...priority...

ME TOO! I hate having to put it down and actually do work!...where are you at in the book? I stopped at page 237 during my lunch hour

on page 244!

That is definitely the kind of book I need. I hate exercising. You gotta do, what you gotta do.

Enjoy!! There is so much that happens in that book...I flew through it despite the size of it!!

I really like this series. It reminds me a bit of Chicagoland Vampires in the main character. Rachel reminds me a bit of Merit.

PS Glad you girls are loving Shadowfever. Its great.

I'm 50% done with

Love this series! And I like Rachel more than merit. Merit is just a bit too co-ed for me. At least at first. She's been growing on me.

I know I say this EVERY time someone posts it but I LOVE Downside Ghosts series by Stacia Kane! Hope you like it too!

I like it so far but I am only 25 pages in. I have a feeling I will enjoy learning about the heroine's back story. She seems complicated. Also, what made her get into her pill habit and involved with Bump and Terrible. I will let you know!

@ Lan-Dinh - I couldn't figure out the words to describe Merit and you nailed it on the head. I couldn't really enjoy Chicagoland, the first book, because she came across as very young to me and I just couldn't her attitude and her age, 27, just didn't fit for me. I kept wanting her to be more mature. I do plan on continuing because people say it gets better.

Yes - definitely keep reading. It gets better, Merit gets better. You may have heard about Hard Bitten's WTF ending. You may want to wait until closer to Drink Deep's 11.1.2011 release date to get further along in the series.

I just got that yesterday on my kindle and I'm looking forward to it. But I am scared it won't be as great as the Vampire Academy. How do you like it so far?

I personally love

All this talk about Roarke, I need to get back into the In Death series. I think I'm on book 3? I just dropped it for other newly released books and haven't gotten back into them. Maybe I should try the audio instead...

After the action of Vampire Academy, its a bit slower, but first books in a series always take a while to set the stage. I am liking it so far.

How are you liking the series? It is personally one of my favorites.

I know there must be a reason why writers do this, go under different names, I have no idea what it is though.? Cause if you really like a writer you tend to look for other books they have done as well.
